perhaps it would be better for both sides,
if they just stopped trading with each other.

This is only to be expected given the actions of TMBOA and her despectic 'world leading' government: they wish.

And more is yet to come, so all the Malvanistas had better get used to it.

TTT and reality check - try to get this through your thick skulls. It is widely accepted as fact that free trade between nations is a benefit to every nation. The WTO exists to ensure that all trade is free and that individual nations are not restricting it and nations can report instances where others are not allowing this, through import duties or subsidies for instance. Argentina, has on the face of it, broken these rules and has been reported. You probably think it hasn't and it's all a giant conspiracy by colonialists, because you're both stupid AND paranoid. But it doesn't matter what you or I think, because an independent body, the WTO, will investegate and rule on the facts.

It DOES matter whether Argentina has broken the rules, because restricting free trade is bad for the global economy and the global economy isn't exactly booming at the moment, as I'm sure you've noticed.

Whenever Argentina mention the Falkland Islands they mention the ovwerwhelming world support they get for their claim.

This only goes to show how self-deluded they are, because I can't see where this overwhelming support comes from.
    @7
OK, then you're going to be a lot poorer then aren't you.
Have the Falkland Islands been reported to the WTO? No because they know how to run business and trade fairly. A country of 3000 can do what a country of 40,000,000 cannot. CFK would be well advised to ask the Islanders to help run her economy. Then, Argentina would be a huge success.

Erm, how about the $1.3 billion fine for Brazil in 2000:

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/894230.stm

Or more recently, fines against the US over cotton ($300m), against the US over steel ($150m) etc etc. There are plenty of examples. So much for the argument its just big countries hitting smaller ones.

What a fine patriotic speach, Cristina would be proud of her little troll, it proves her indoctrination program is working perfectly.

“Argentina is taking on you all, good for us. We ain't taking it sitting down how about that???”
Actually, you will take whatever comes, Arg is a sinking ship, it niether has the ability or will to change what is coming (financial & social meltdown).

however I don't doubt the old trump card will be played “it wasn't us it was the Junta” “it wasn't our fault the world was against us”

With fools like you blatently ignoring what is happening and patrioticaly defending your Gov, quite frankly you deserve what you get.

@7 Ah, diddums. Is it all everybody else's fault again? Knew it couldn't be your fault. Just as a matter of interest, has anything ever been your fault? When you decided to try to steal some of our territory in 1820, that would have been our fault. Naturally, the “Conquest of the Desert” was the natives' fault. Imagine the temerity of those people trying to protect THEIR land, THEIR way of life, THEIR lives. And whose fault was it that you backed the wrong side in WW2? And only “changed sides” when it became obvious that your pals weren't going to win. When you got as far as your “Dirty War”, whose fault was that? Presumably that of all the people that “disappeared”. How convenient. Then you tried to steal our territory AGAIN. I clearly remember how the farmers of the Falkland Islands threatened you and forced you to invade and start a war...not! Then there was that business with the IMF. Many countries have been aided by the IMF, but not argieland. No, that was a disaster for you. Strange that. Now all these countries are against you when trading. Could it be anything to do with the fact that you lie and cheat? Or that you can't keep to agreements? Or treaties? Or laws? Unless it suits you. AND you're trying to steal our territory AGAIN. “cheaters, dirty, and pathetic”. Well, yes you are. As well as a lot of other nasty attributes. But you could try to reform. The first thing to do is to try to identify where you went wrong. I can help you there. It was in 1816.
@10 Look it up for yourself! http://www.wto.org/english/tratop_e/dispu_e/dispu_status_e.htm
@12 And your evidence is......? Or would that be too much trouble? Because no-one's told you what to say yet?
@14 Who's got the inflation rate of 25-30%? Who's got the sovereign credit rating of B? Who's got the power cuts and fuel shortages? Who's got all the strikes and industrial action? Who's got no money and has to rely on “credits”, i.e. handouts?

#13 You know the funny thing about slow sinking ships, those on board can't see it, only those out looking in can see her listing and the foundering waterline. Most of the troll's here are experiencing the “drowning man” phenononom, so do not get too close or they will take you down as well.
I give those trolls credit though, for such loyalty. More than I can say for Sussie who jumped ship.

“It's as if this is considered legal protectionism when it is done by developed countries and populist protectionism when it is done by emerging countries.”

Exactly. Well said Queen Cristina =)

#1 I've always supported votes at 16. If you can work for your MP, marry and/or have sex with your MP, join the army to fight and kill and die for your MP, all of which a 16 year old can, why shouldn't you be able to vote for your MP?! Glad to see fellw Cristinistas agree with this progressive proposal =)

@25, actually of those named, only one was ever a british colony.

Liberia was an American protectorate set up to repatriate freed slaves and Rwanda was a German colony until WWI when Belgium took control of it.

Just a bit of fact-checking for ye :)

#27 Facts get in the way with these trolls. They prefer to call everyone racists,l bloodsuckers and every menial self contrived insult that they think is damaging.
Their real anger at a free market economy is that people are expected to work to maintain a life. That's not something in their creed. They expect business is suppose to take care of them and can't comprehend the “profit motive” concept.
Mexico lodged a complaint against argentina as well......a LATAM country.....oh my.
#26 You get a written reason why it was denied......criminal activity?
