Some 130 billion dollars will be invested in Venezuela's Orinoco Oil Belt between 2013 and 2019 to boost national production from 3 million barrels per day to 6 million bpd, President Hugo Chavez announced on Tuesday evening. Read full article
Viva Hugo. tw who is all this tougher nu to crack than expected stuff trying to fool, Chavez is going to win fair and square, all polls point to that
It's not wrong to pray for him to be hit by a meteorite or struck by lightening, because that would then surely be God's will (just like cancer) but with affirmative action.
I just hope TMBOA is stood next to him if it should happen, and God can get two for the price of one.
If lard arse and his socialist chums hadn't completely fucked up the economy by corruption, nepotism and plain daft ideas the tax take would have been considerably more and perhaps the country's infrastructure would have actually worked and the population would have benefitted a lot more.
Anyway who actually believes theses figures? Just another 5'year plan from the dictator
With his big mouth, constant threats, and dodgy friends, Chavez has made himself one big irksome fat target. So far the clown's been all talk, but as soon as he carries out one of his threats, he's history. Assuming illness doesn't get him first, either way he's a dead man walking.
I wonder how that explosion will go with these palns to expand? Hasn't it been changed to rebuild? Inexperience government officials running businesses without expert knowledge at work here.
@15
Come on...British Petroleum is worst....Don't you remember the 2010 explosion in the Gulf of Mexico?... were you the one in charge of such project like the BP sea oil exploration?....
Looking at the figures again, is it me or don't they stand up?
Present production 3 MBPD or which 1.2 MBPD comes from the belt.
Dead Man Waliking is going to spend Roughly 5 billion is to be invested this year, which will enable “production in the Belt to reach 1.35 million barrels per day by the end of 2012” Chavez said.
So all this money for 0.15 MBPD. What a bargian? If it works that is.

Aug 24th, 2012 - 10:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0I always go with the science: he is on a short rope and it's getting shorter.
But heh, isn't that the same for everyone on the planet. :o)
Atheist, agnostic or the faithful. Until someone provides me with irrefutable prove, I like to play is say, prayer never hurt anyone.

Indeed. I hope and pray Hugo's rope keeps getting a tiny bit shorter for many decades to come...
