Pity. If CFK regains power it will ensure that Argentina's sovereignty claims over the FIs will be buried even further as her country goes t*ts up.

But it would be wrong to wish this on the Argentine people who deserve a real politician in charge to run their country properly.

And Argentina, note that the FIG run their country very efficiently so I'm sure for a reasonable consultancy fee, FIG could instruct you how to run your country successfully so that none of your people experience poverty fuel shortages etc etc .

My guess is that if Argentina was as successful as they should be, the Falklands would become an extremely peripheral issue, and of course any Argentine president with half a functioning brain that accepted the FIG and spoke to them on cooperation, would be increasing Patagonia's economy dramatically.

2012 and Cristina. Let's see where Argentina is:

    The World's top protectionist country
Has more international trade disputes running than any other country
Is regarded as an pariah state by international money lenders
Argentine Peso falling in value on a daily basis - devaluation on the way?
Questions currently being raised about G20 status
Laughably trying to sue British companies lawfully drilling for oil in Falkland waters

4 more years - yes please!
Is a joke on the World stage

TMBOA will simply ignore the figures: they are not INDEC figures after all!

And, don't forget the one excuse she has - none of her core supporters can afford a telephone and so could not take part in the poll! I would imagine that most of them have difficulty in reading as well and so will miss the results.

So that's alright then: re-election in 2015 here we come. LOL :o)

    7. Or she will take Chavez's lesson and prosecute/persecute everyone associated with the poll. It is the next logical step isn't it?

Read an article today that Moreno is worried about deflation! I think he is confusing unprofitable companies, lower consumer volume with deflation. This could get very interesting since how do you cure deflation? Increase prices...hmm anyone think they'll be over 50% inflation this year? I also heard a 24% wage increase will be allowed. So does that mean they'll be losing 26% of their buying power? (Axel care to answer?)

Mercopress urgently needs to learn about Argentine politics. The poll made so much of is published by Clarin, still smarting as Congress withdrew licences granted by military dictatorship. A poll published by Tiempo Argentino and organised by Rouvier reports that CFK would again get 50% plus (as in October 11). journalism ought not to engage in wishfull reporting.

@11 Aaaah, yes. Good old Ricardo Rouvier. One of the pollsters that gave good ole, dead, Nestor 5 to 8.5 points in the lead over de Narvaez. An election Kirchner LOST! On the other hand, Management and Fit got it RIGHT! Mayhap it is you that needs to learn about argie politics. Rouvier seems to be a “preferred” Casa Rosada option. Perhaps because Rouvier comes out with polls that Kirchner likes? Or has paid for? Could it be that CFK is now cutting back and is paying less than 50,000 pesos per poll? Or is Rouvier insisting on being paid in dollars? You should see what the U.S. embassy in Buenos Aires had to say. http://leaks.hohesc.us/?view=09BUENOSAIRES795

You may like or not CFK but most important thing is that you must to be fair and honest when giving an opinion on both the good things and things that need improvement.

In this regard publish a survey of an agency well know as hard and direct opposition to the government policies, published in a newspaper (Clarin) with strong opposition and figth against the Argentine government and now republished by Mercopress, other Media strong biased against the current Argentine policies, gives no ethical value to result or what you want to report objectively.

Perhaps an impartial optical of CFK's strength and real power can be provided by Forbes, whom ranked the democratically elected president of Argentina in 10 positions higher in importance, power and influence than the Queen Elizabeth II, a monarchy that only represent an obsolete and the decadence of an empire.

Britain, Pitty,,,,,,long time ago respected by certain values……today totally lost. Ecuadorean affair is only a example of this present..

Bahaha - if you ever needed proof that Turkeyneck and her cronies are demented:

“Macri is complaining about rampant propaganda promoted by the national government to impose its ideas. The mayor has set up a toll-free telephone number where citizens can report on the activism of La Cámpora, the Kirchnerite youth group that has been accused of canvassing in secondary schools. Part of the argument is about a novel-length comic book called El Eternauta. After Néstor Kirchner, the President’s husband and predecessor, died suddenly of a heart attack in 2010 La Cámpora depicted the late leader as a hero from that comic book story. Clad in an astronaut-like suit Kirchner was christened by his followers the Nestornauta. Macri has accused La Cámpora of now using El Eternauta in schools to plug Kirchnerism to students.”

How CFKC looks is not related to her ability as a leader but she looks like a drag queen. No woman of her age should be wearing that heavy make-up, it adds a decade to her look. Doesn't she have a best friend to tell her that?

And she is absolutely out of her depth as a leader of a country. She was never meant to run the country. She was supposed to be Nestor's puppet until he repaired his image and could be voted into power again. The plan hit a bump when he dropped dead.

    @11 Guillermo Makin -

They say Clarin lies. How tedious a cliche that isnt even true. A better description would be -Clarin tries to discredit us-. And what does the system have to fear so much? If the economy was stable and the future rosy the Peronist systems actions would speak alot louder than its scaredy-cat words and fear mongering about the -enemies of the state-.

CFK doesnt deny that that her party are spreading propaganda around schools nor that they release recently convicted brutal murderers to take part in their propaganda activities (Though obviously she uses different words) Theyre not lies. Lies are the INDEC figures for 10% inflation or that its possible to eat sufficiently on 6 pesos a day.

And theres changing the constitution to suit an individual. Not a good move for democracy as history has clearly shown us.

What's Prince Harry's arse got to do with the failing popularity of the Argentine President ?

She is falling in popularity because her policies do not deliver good social or economic returns for her people, not because Prince Harry was caught enjoying himself.

Brace yourselves for a new blast of populist national socialism, and no doubt further attacks on innocent Falkland Islanders to try to undermine their livelihoods.

Isn't it time for the Argentine opposition to advance their policies and proposals to improve the lot of their people. Try giving something back instead of just trying to accumulate personal wealth and power.

CFK has less and less advisors because she will not listen to those who tell her things are not so good, less and less credibility in the international community because of her aggressive behaviour towards all her neighbours, and less and less support at home because she really does not care about the disadvantaged.

    Time to move on.
