Argentine President Cristina Fernández popularity sank to 30% in August, less than half of what it was a year earlier, according to a poll published on Sunday that portrayed a country worried about crime and high inflation. Read full article
Pity. If CFK regains power it will ensure that Argentina's sovereignty claims over the FIs will be buried even further as her country goes t*ts up.
But it would be wrong to wish this on the Argentine people who deserve a real politician in charge to run their country properly.
And Argentina, note that the FIG run their country very efficiently so I'm sure for a reasonable consultancy fee, FIG could instruct you how to run your country successfully so that none of your people experience poverty fuel shortages etc etc .
My guess is that if Argentina was as successful as they should be, the Falklands would become an extremely peripheral issue, and of course any Argentine president with half a functioning brain that accepted the FIG and spoke to them on cooperation, would be increasing Patagonia's economy dramatically.

So that's alright then: re-election in 2015 here we come. LOL :o)
7. Or she will take Chavez's lesson and prosecute/persecute everyone associated with the poll. It is the next logical step isn't it?
Read an article today that Moreno is worried about deflation! I think he is confusing unprofitable companies, lower consumer volume with deflation. This could get very interesting since how do you cure deflation? Increase prices...hmm anyone think they'll be over 50% inflation this year? I also heard a 24% wage increase will be allowed. So does that mean they'll be losing 26% of their buying power? (Axel care to answer?)

Mercopress urgently needs to learn about Argentine politics. The poll made so much of is published by Clarin, still smarting as Congress withdrew licences granted by military dictatorship. A poll published by Tiempo Argentino and organised by Rouvier reports that CFK would again get 50% plus (as in October 11). journalism ought not to engage in wishfull reporting.
@11 Aaaah, yes. Good old Ricardo Rouvier. One of the pollsters that gave good ole, dead, Nestor 5 to 8.5 points in the lead over de Narvaez. An election Kirchner LOST! On the other hand, Management and Fit got it RIGHT! Mayhap it is you that needs to learn about argie politics. Rouvier seems to be a preferred Casa Rosada option. Perhaps because Rouvier comes out with polls that Kirchner likes? Or has paid for? Could it be that CFK is now cutting back and is paying less than 50,000 pesos per poll? Or is Rouvier insisting on being paid in dollars? You should see what the U.S. embassy in Buenos Aires had to say. http://leaks.hohesc.us/?view=09BUENOSAIRES795
You may like or not CFK but most important thing is that you must to be fair and honest when giving an opinion on both the good things and things that need improvement.
In this regard publish a survey of an agency well know as hard and direct opposition to the government policies, published in a newspaper (Clarin) with strong opposition and figth against the Argentine government and now republished by Mercopress, other Media strong biased against the current Argentine policies, gives no ethical value to result or what you want to report objectively.
Perhaps an impartial optical of CFK's strength and real power can be provided by Forbes, whom ranked the democratically elected president of Argentina in 10 positions higher in importance, power and influence than the Queen Elizabeth II, a monarchy that only represent an obsolete and the decadence of an empire.

Bahaha - if you ever needed proof that Turkeyneck and her cronies are demented:
Macri is complaining about rampant propaganda promoted by the national government to impose its ideas. The mayor has set up a toll-free telephone number where citizens can report on the activism of La Cámpora, the Kirchnerite youth group that has been accused of canvassing in secondary schools. Part of the argument is about a novel-length comic book called El Eternauta. After Néstor Kirchner, the President’s husband and predecessor, died suddenly of a heart attack in 2010 La Cámpora depicted the late leader as a hero from that comic book story. Clad in an astronaut-like suit Kirchner was christened by his followers the Nestornauta. Macri has accused La Cámpora of now using El Eternauta in schools to plug Kirchnerism to students.
@15 I think so far is getting confused between Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Queen Elizabeth I. But it's strange how Forbes puts Her Majesty in the Politics category. When she has little if anything to do with politics.
As a harpy? Looks at all the make-up! Her 1st visit as Prez to the USA someone told her to stop using so much make-up because Americans will think she looks like a hooker.
hey're really giving the Nazis and North Koreans a run for their money in the “warping the minds of children” stakes. Chavez does the same thing but he has U$ to spread around too...she doesn't...
CFK is at #16, HM Queen Elizabeth II is ar #26, but the differences are huge, CFK is the POLITICAL leader of a country, HM is the MONARCH of a nation and leader of the Commonwealth, she has also been in that position for the last 60 years!!!!!
How CFKC looks is not related to her ability as a leader but she looks like a drag queen. No woman of her age should be wearing that heavy make-up, it adds a decade to her look. Doesn't she have a best friend to tell her that?
And she is absolutely out of her depth as a leader of a country. She was never meant to run the country. She was supposed to be Nestor's puppet until he repaired his image and could be voted into power again. The plan hit a bump when he dropped dead.
They say Clarin lies. How tedious a cliche that isnt even true. A better description would be -Clarin tries to discredit us-. And what does the system have to fear so much? If the economy was stable and the future rosy the Peronist systems actions would speak alot louder than its scaredy-cat words and fear mongering about the -enemies of the state-.
CFK doesnt deny that that her party are spreading propaganda around schools nor that they release recently convicted brutal murderers to take part in their propaganda activities (Though obviously she uses different words) Theyre not lies. Lies are the INDEC figures for 10% inflation or that its possible to eat sufficiently on 6 pesos a day.

The only things you and the UK team needs to do are:
1. Stay away of making unacceptables comments about Argentina,
the argentine leader and argentinians.
2. Please, tell UK Prince Harry not to release, intentionally, his photo of
his arse....rubbish bloody royal crap!
3. Furnish a free rental apartment to Fergie Ferguson, ex-wife of UK

#44 Just been too busy having a real life; not everyone can be on here all the time! But since you asked, my prediction is that Cristina's Argentina will continue to move to the left, the economy will pick up and inflation go down given the recent revival in Brazil, the constitution will be reformed and Cristina will be re-reelected in 2015 =) Viva Reina Cristina
Anyway to the brits pirates, that think the MAlvinas issue will get better, without her, well you are all wrong.I did not vote for her,I do not like her team, but, hey that is democracy. On the other hand I will be much worse than her on the MAlvinas issue...specially AGAINST uk
where did cristina get her polyp in the throat, anything to do with snr chavez's todger? I think she is doing a sterling job, well sterling is going
up against the pesos,so she is popular with me.
Why are you always mentioning these fictional islands? They cannot be found on any map, I have searched for them. Do you mean the Maldives?
You must be dreaming. Oh and about you being much worse. Well how? CFK is leaving your country bankrupt. What are you going to do, cry and hold your breath until the UK gives you what you want? JAJAJAJAJAJAJA!
#46 When will it pick up? And of course the constitution will be changed. Sitting in your chair far away from the misery, ever notice that EVERY president changes the constitution when they get in power in all SA countries? Of course you don't find that odd. And they do it in breakneck speed.
Theres changing the constitution as a matter of principle to suit the nation in the long term.
And theres changing the constitution to suit an individual. Not a good move for democracy as history has clearly shown us.
Its sad if Argentines believe that someone else could NOT do a better job than this current shower of shit - 30% and rising inflation, all unions demanding pay rises above the entirely deceitful INDEC inflation rate, sense of economic and social instabilty, missing funds from government agencies etc etc
If you look at the history of SA countries tand the presidents....they always change the constitution to fit and increase their power. And the people do not care. And it's no wonder that stability will never arrive in latin america.
Theses self proclaimed leaders of democracy have nothing to say about cuba and the lack of democracy.
I see Lady Gaga has managed to slip in to 14th place....before CFK ;)
Lady Gaga is therefore more powerful than CFK - I can see the sense in that
enough said there
Whilst not a monarchist - QE has far more respect around the world than Your Presidente... who frankly is a bit of a joke. I am not political either but I do read this forum, mainly to see what that nutbar is going to do next!

AHAHAHHAHAHAHA,Argentina is BOOMING! With the soybean, oil, copper,Lemmons,Sugar, ethanol, milk,at all time high....AHAHAHA what miserably retard you are..
The future of uk ?/ FINISHED!!
What's Prince Harry's arse got to do with the failing popularity of the Argentine President ?
She is falling in popularity because her policies do not deliver good social or economic returns for her people, not because Prince Harry was caught enjoying himself.
Brace yourselves for a new blast of populist national socialism, and no doubt further attacks on innocent Falkland Islanders to try to undermine their livelihoods.
Isn't it time for the Argentine opposition to advance their policies and proposals to improve the lot of their people. Try giving something back instead of just trying to accumulate personal wealth and power.
CFK has less and less advisors because she will not listen to those who tell her things are not so good, less and less credibility in the international community because of her aggressive behaviour towards all her neighbours, and less and less support at home because she really does not care about the disadvantaged.

Aug 27th, 2012 - 09:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The only things you and the UK team needs to do are:
Prince Andrew. She does not own nothing in the UK or overseas...
she does not have even a retirement benefit...
4. Avoid posting big name such as yours when we all know that is the
same Isolde....
The UK team is loosing...but, if they prefer to make a fool of themselves...is better for you to work in Las Vegas selling the cornish pasty to the illegals immigrants...they are the only ones that pays a penny for each cornish pasty.
lol
@40 I keep on looking but I *still* can't find anything in MercoPresses T's & C''s about not making unaccepables (sic.) comments about Argentina

Of course. He just amuses me when he gets all paranoid, froths at the mouth, and adopts yet another identity.
He can't hide his perversions when he flies off the handle

#44 Just been too busy having a real life; not everyone can be on here all the time! But since you asked, my prediction is that Cristina's Argentina will continue to move to the left, the economy will pick up and inflation go down given the recent revival in Brazil, the constitution will be reformed and Cristina will be re-reelected in 2015 =) Viva Reina Cristina
Aug 28th, 2012 - 01:22 am - Link - Report abuse 0Anyway to the brits pirates, that think the MAlvinas issue will get better, without her, well you are all wrong.I did not vote for her,I do not like her team, but, hey that is democracy. On the other hand I will be much worse than her on the MAlvinas issue...specially AGAINST uk

You must be dreaming. Oh and about you being much worse. Well how? CFK is leaving your country bankrupt. What are you going to do, cry and hold your breath until the UK gives you what you want? JAJAJAJAJAJAJA!
However, CFK the end is nigh.
#46 When will it pick up? And of course the constitution will be changed. Sitting in your chair far away from the misery, ever notice that EVERY president changes the constitution when they get in power in all SA countries? Of course you don't find that odd. And they do it in breakneck speed.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 10:09 am - Link - Report abuse 0Theres changing the constitution as a matter of principle to suit the nation in the long term.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 03:04 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And theres changing the constitution to suit an individual.
What a shame. All that opportunity wasted.
This is my favorite picture of old anal lips. SHe is boring everyone at the table:

If you look at the history of SA countries tand the presidents....they always change the constitution to fit and increase their power. And the people do not care. And it's no wonder that stability will never arrive in latin america.
Theses self proclaimed leaders of democracy have nothing to say about cuba and the lack of democracy.

Aug 28th, 2012 - 05:30 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I see Lady Gaga has managed to slip in to 14th place....before CFK ;)

Aug 29th, 2012 - 10:54 am - Link - Report abuse 0Here is a question I have been intending to ask for a while.
Have you always been this stupid or did you take lessons?
Ha, ha, to the power google. You are so funny!
What's Prince Harry's arse got to do with the failing popularity of the Argentine President ?
Aug 29th, 2012 - 12:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0She is falling in popularity because her policies do not deliver good social or economic returns for her people, not because Prince Harry was caught enjoying himself.
Time to move on.
