Aug 28th, 2012 - 11:13 am - Link - Report abuse 0Chevron, isn't that the one that had an oil tanker named after Condoleezza Rice?!
Aug 28th, 2012 - 11:48 am - Link - Report abuse 0I don't see it happening without concessions from RG. Escrow in a European or American bank and market price oil.

I think you'll find that Chevron is owned by George Bush!!!!!
All the big o/g companies have told ARG what is required, market price oil, guarantee of export and an escrow account outside of Arg. She already refused. That is when YPF Prez announced he will quit.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 02:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0They are a bunch of buffoons. Nothing is going to stop this collapse. I hope the RGs are stocking up on sugar and laundry detergent to trade for food.
#4 actually of the top 25% of Chevron holders, it is held buy institutional funds. Vanguard holds the highest % of Chevron at just over 4.5%. If Chevron buys into that type of risk with YFP, those institutions will unlaod Chevron stock like the plague with will cause a freefall in the Chevron stock price and George Kirkland and buddies would be none to happy.

Aug 28th, 2012 - 04:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I don't worry about Argentina I LOVE watching how the stupid Rgs on this board have had to backpedal or just plain disappear as all of their dreams of an new economic model are collapsing. I LOVE being right and saying I told you so.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 04:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Next year should be really really fun to watch! My advice is to stockpile sugar and laundry detergent in a cool, dry & dark place. You will be very glad you did!
Stagflation now and Hyperinflation just about to take off.

Aug 28th, 2012 - 05:40 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The way things are going at YPF and Argentina I just cannot see Galuccio being there in six months (gone before March 2013).
Aug 28th, 2012 - 06:46 pm - Link - Report abuse 0He will be left out to dry by TMBOA once she realizes that he cannot get the money required to develop the train wreck which is YPF.
Galuccio has stated that Argentina will become a net exporter of oil 'very soon'. Mmmm, bet TMBOA has got that written in stone, so when it fails to materialise, it will be bye, bye to him.
slb, I admit not everyone is rich in the USA but if you work hard you can have a decent life. Much better than 99% of any other place they could live. I think the USA is the only place in the world where the homeless are fat!
Aug 28th, 2012 - 06:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Most homeless vets and homeless in general are crazy. There are so many shelters, food banks, work programs it is insane! If they choose to live on the street in their own filth that is their business. Who am I to stop them? Shootings? Hmm there are lots in the news but we still rank as a pretty safe place to live much better than anyplace in SA. We certailny don't have villas patrolled by the military like in Brazil or slums in BA where the police are afraid to go. BTW how many people were killed at soccer games in Arg this year?
If you think smaller gov't is going to bring poverty you can rot along with the rest of the Socialist/Marxists in whatever horrible place you come from. I hope you don't live in the USA we certainly don't'want your kind here.

Aug 28th, 2012 - 07:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You poor deluded thing!! Of course Argentina has no homeless people, under KFC's wonderful leadership, Argentina has become a garden of eden where everyone is treated equily and with resepect. There is no one is homeless, everyone has enough money and food..........
( all the above is b*llsh*t )
There are homeless in America? It's news isn't it? there are homeless everywhere you clown!!!
There are shootings in America. Really? you don't say!!! There isn't a country on Earth where death by firearm's doesn't occur you retard!!! Even in the UK ( where we are not allowed to have firearms )
The gap between rich and poor is getting bigger? oh boo hoo!! run home to mummy and tell her it's not fair!!! This is the real world so deal with it.
Oh, and before you try and pen an answer, please try to tell us something that we don't already know.
The only people whining about income inequality are Marxists. No one else cares. All they want is a re-distribution of someone else's wealth so they can stay at home on their lazy as*.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 07:45 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Trouble is once other people's money is gone...then what?
This is exactly why I love to watch what is happening in Arg and why I am terrified it could happen here. I hope we are smarter than those idiots though.
@7,9. We see you, Sussie. How many user names have you got now? Five, is it? You still post crap.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 07:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0#11 posts like slb's are not even worth responding to because he is basing his circumcized opinions based on the government news broadcasts. They can only do world glimpses of the bad to offset their own misery and help the RGs forget how bad things are.
Aug 28th, 2012 - 07:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0They are trolls mining to digress the subject.
I would certainly rather be poor in the United States of America than the jungles of south america.
All the comments made by the UK team including Yankeeboy, who claims be the owner of the Luxor and the Mirage Hotels in Las Vegas and with permanente in the Trump Tower is just a show...
Aug 29th, 2012 - 12:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0Hey, listen Yanyeeboy....how about donating your properties to Uncle Sam? You know if the 10 first reachest US citizens from donate their fortune such amount won't last more than 35 days for the federal goverment to pay interest on the 15 trillon US Clock debt....do something for the USA, if really you have some brains left!
lol
Read a little blurb today that YPF owes U$880MM on demand to USA creditors. YPF has stopped paying ARG taxes and are scrambling to find the U$ in case the notes are called.
Aug 29th, 2012 - 02:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0These morons can't even steal companies with some forethought.
Bahahahahaha
She will attempt to claim Repsol owes it....lol. There is a bill pending to allow expropriation of land based businesses. It's vague at the moment, but my guess it is to steal farms because of grain prices.
