Venezuelan opposition presidential candidate Henrique Carriles admitted that his “weakness” are the ladies and said he was convinced that they would ensure his victory next 7 October when he faces Hugo Chávez at the polls.

During a political rally in central Venezuela, the 40 year old solicitor, former governor and who remains single, interrupted his speech and openly confessed he was “impressed by the beauty of the women from the state of Carabobo”.

“Sometimes you’re here standing on the stage and you have these beautiful women in front of you and you look at them and lose concentration” said a smiling Capriles who spokespersons from government have accused of being a “fascist”, “bourgeois” and even suggesting doubts about his sexual orientation.

“How, when, will I marry? It’s too difficult, too difficult”, said the opposition candidate in the midst of screams from the feminine audience among the public. “That is my weakness. Here I’m telling the country openly, my weakness is women”.

Capriles said he was convinced that the ladies “are going to make me president” and that is because men know well that “it is women that convince them”.

Next 7 October Venezuelans will vote for the next president (2013/2019) among seven candidates including President Hugo Chavez, 58, and in office since 1999. Capriles is the former governor of the state of Miranda in the centre of the country and the second most important.

Opinion polls show that Caprile is closing in on Chavez, who has been surprisingly active in his campaign in spite several months of cancer treatment that even kept him away from Venezuela, in Cuba, where he underwent chemotherapy treatment.

In spite of a poor management of the Venezuelan economy which depends on oil exports, Chavez is adored by the poor for all his food and social programs.

as long as he's not corrupt, authoritarian, seperation-of-powers- overthrowing, free-media-forbidding president like Chavez IS,
he can have this weakness without issues.
Aren't women all our straight men's weakness in gerneral? ;D
