Its neither stupid or malevolent, Cristina has been deceived by self serving people; that her sweet nature led her into this situation of using an honest but inacurate example of her good works does not detract from the point she was making about the importance of inclusive development. And its a lovely picture, her eyes are so expressive =)

However, CFK should be firing people over these obvious plants to try and fool the ordinary Argentine voter. But I suppose they had to be plants, as she hasn't got the courage to talk to her people face to face and accept criticism, just like she won't face the media and any 'uncomfortable' questions they may ask.
It is the most entertaining part of this “website”: watching the hordes of uneducated foreigners talk about the brainwashed argies, when they (through the prism of Mercopress, which has a clear bias... they perrogative of course), are in fact more brainwashed because they speak about a country which they have never actually even investigated. Laughs and laughs!

16. When you get out of larger cities the roads are dirt, no sewage systems or public water! It is pretty unimaginable for people that grew up or lived in a civilized country. I was shocked and I am sure I didn't see the worst of it.

In the slums of BsAs people can survive, albeit miserably, by working, begging, sending their children out to beg, rummaging through rubbish and, of course, crime. In rural areas there is nothing, absolutely nothing to alleviate the grinding poverty.
