Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff is scheduled to meet with her US peer Barack Obama next week in the framework of the annual opening of the UN General Assembly and at the end of the month will be hosting British PM David Cameron in Brasilia, according to Sao Paulo media reports. The British Prime Minister is respected around the world, by many different countries. Not only that but the UK and Brazil do a lot of trade, and Britain is building Brazil new naval vessels.

Sounds like they have a lot to talk about.

Meanwhile BK, on another subject, what do you think about the Argentine government dispossessing the native Amerindians of their land for profit? A situation that is getting so bad that the UN is accusing your beloved CFKs government of human rights abuses?

Surely as a man of the people you oppose this imperialist colonial aggression shown by CFK?

ercopress reports that there will be an 'inconclusive' agenda, says Folha de Sao Paulo, quoting a Brasilian diplomatic source.

I feel sure the correct translation is an 'open-ended' agenda - and a good job too
... but there is still the reticence to receive Dilma with the full diplomatic pomp and ceremony as a Head of State of a major world nation.
