Korean Hyundai begins production at Sao Paulo plant; target 10% of Brazilian market

Korea’s Hyundai Motor is expanding its presence in Africa and Brazil, two of the several automobile markets with mammoth growth potential by diversifying export models. While the largest carmaker in Korea is making the most of its manufacturing factory in India it launched regular operation of its Brazilian factory over the weekend. Read full article

    More great News for Mercosur and Unasur. Greater industrial production, more jobs. As with all Brazilian auto production, much of the parts production will originate in Argentina. Good for them!

    1 ChrisR (#) Perhaps because Brazil is a nation of 200 M people and most of its sales will be in Brazil.

    Yes, I know, it was sarcasm. I have a new VW motor car made in Brasil with a gearbox made in AG.

    BTW AG does NOT have much of an auto parts manufacturing industry, only assembly which is why TMBOA fcuked it up with the import ban.

    You would know that if you were in the least interested in understanding the true AG situation instead of the nonsense you do post.
