    I'm sure this is also GOOD news for Argentina just like the impounding of the ARA Libertad in Ghana is GOOD news for Argentina (obviously because it exposes hypocrisy in the global financial system - duh!).

    All we need is someone with a good imagination to explain why this is GOOD news....

    @4 This is GOOD news because with any luck Argentines will learn to vote for people with their interests at heart , not self interest .
    Kretina pissed the country's wealth away by buying the votes from the poor with handouts , rather than investing in industry , education , health and infrastructure .
    Well, now she has to pay the piper .

    If I was an Argentinian one thing that would worry me is the way the both the chiefs and the ten commanders were removed by Security Minister Nilda Garré and replaced with KFC's chosen ones and thus trying to give her complete control.

    Its also shown by Antonio Caló the secretary general of the anti-Moyano CGT labour confederation comment . ”when we have to tell the Government that they are wrong, we will do so but with the respect they deserve. We will be cautious in doing so”

    This sounds more like a dictatorship everyday.

    It will will a dictatorship. Always someone paid by the feds is stricking for wages, a sign. I would be troubled that uniformed people are striking. Why don't the Army chiefs say screw it and put her out to pasture. They need a military coupe to get some control over there. Forget RGland....it is moronsville.

    Dictatorships only work with the support of the police and armed forces .
    A 30-70% pay cut is not going to endear the security forces to the government .
    The Gendarmeria and Prefectura were the only two security forces not totally suborned by bribery and corruption , this may now change .
    The sacked officers will be eagerly snapped up as “security consultants” to drug cartels and other criminal elements . This happened before in Alfonsin & Menem's time .

    Food prices are astronomically high in the USA and I am paying now $900.00 dolars per month just for one person..... is sad to see millons of USA citizens and their families, born and educated in the USA....suffering hunger.....

    does anyone know how many have been “disappeared” / Killed??? didn't they call that mass grave of 10,000 souls “the tip of the iceberg”?

    10,000 dead and that is just the “tip”???? Now, I know that gun crime in America is something that a lot of people are concerned about but 10,000? and that's just the tip??? so shove it SussieUS or 2012 or whatever the f**k you are calling yourself. To answer you YES!! 312 murders is bad but 10,000? come on, lets have a little perspective here shall we?

    @34 You dont have murders you just round people up and throw them out of C130's into south atlantic, not to mention all those who died in 1982 through your pointless and doomed to failure invasion of the Falklands (there are no Malvinas). 30,000 was the the figure i've been quoted women, children,anti goverment people who disappeared, who were never seen again, is there not still an investigation going on trying to find where all these people DISAPPEARED to, mothers still looking for thier lost child or mourning thier dead son buried in a grave in the Falklands, you are a pathetic little shit if you even dare compare the deaths of people by the result of gang warfare in the US/UK with the genocide your goverment has dished out over the last period of your sad history. DON'T blame it on the Junta either you had a tongue then and didn't use it, I suggest you use it now and not for talking shit as normal. Go home 2012/Sussie, stop wasting our time, if your so obsessed with your so called own country then fook off home and do something about it instead of sponging of the US whilst slagging them off, it makes you look even more pathetic than you probably are....end of dit!

    Same about the high crime in certain cities.

    @41 Ayayay
    The information the USA Goverment presents is not realistic!
    The $200.00 food stamps allowance is not enough to pay for a whole month of good food.
    Food banks in the USA owned by charities are asking for donations of peanut butter, crakers, vegetables in cans and sodas....that is the average meal of the millons of homeless USA citizens.

    The average twenty year-old in the U.S. Coast Guard, according to that blog's guesstimation, makes - $3,136 a month.
    That just sounded like, alot.

    17,248 Arg pesos a month at 5.50 'light blue'.

    (Apparently it was the avg 20 year old (prolly at school or at home) that gained the other wage)

    ,,,,,“envy and jealousy,” of what?.....

    @55 ayyyyyyyyyyyyyy..yaya...
    ........did you say you are an USA citizen?... then, deduct social security mandatory deduction of 6.2%, medicare mandatory deducation of 1.45%...state tax 10% and federal tax...and the $3,136 salary ended up about $2,800 per month. After mandatory deductions....
    the amount of $2,800 is not enough to pay a $650.00 rent or $900 monthly mortgage payment, utilities services of $ 200.00 (water,electricity and trash collection), gasoline $200, car payment $200, car insurance $60, food $900 and $500 for clothes, etc.

    I repeat, I am the only one from the USA posting in mercopress....,you are not from the USA....your comments don't make any sense!

    Did you notice that there are no trolls except Sussie 2012 - and all he can do is vainly try to deflect attention to the USA or himself.

    LOL !! he is truly hopeless.

    The trolls that have a brain are not showing up.

    I think Sussie should go as well.

    I'm sure a few more toilets at CFK's hotel need cleaning...

    The country is slowly imploding. They take from one group in order to pay another until they protest. How can they defend ....what's it called, the nutshell game. I was hoping this will inspire the army to say.....enough and hang her>

    @78

    I would think it is, but in defence of the Security forces, they really should be a well paid professional force. Much less susceptable to temptation and corruption. They could have a long-term career to be proud of, not just a position they need to exploit.

    Comparing 1700 a month to start equates to around 720 (PPP) US dollars, thats nothing.
