It's all good news for the Falklands! And nothing the illegitimate occupants across the water can do about it!

Great news - 3 rigs within 3 years - potentially 3 more new discoveries within 5 years and a great line from Conqueror above... nothing they can do about it!

    LOL!!!

TMBOA and her cronies will not like this one bit ( oh no they won't!! ) you go guys!! keep up the good work!!

By the way, I while back ( and on another story ) I challenged everyone with a question that wasn't answered. I asked “Think” and his army ( lol ) of posters what Argetina had given the world. ChrisR will back me up on this one, he got the gold star for the first correct answers!!!

Well suprise, suprise no one answered so I did a little research of my own and found out that Argentina HAD actually positively contributed to the world ( actaully holds a world record really ). Oh, please feel free to correct me if this is wrong by the way:-

On the 02nd May 1982 ARA Belgrano was sunk by HMS Conqueror, the first time a ship had been sunk by a nuclear submarine.

There! I hope “Think” et al approve of my research...........

Really good news for our Islands and it will get even better in the coming years. Can't imagine the CFK lots responce to that but bet they are feeling pretty deflated right now. No matter what they chuck at us we are forging ahead and within the next five years Argentina as far as the Falkland are concerned willl be a piece of History. By then we will have a stronger world class standing. (Oil does so much for one) while Argentina will be broken by the after effects of what is happening right now in their Country. Almost makes you feel sorry for the poor buggers.

Don't waste your sympathy on them. They do not deserve it, they will only blame you ( wrongly ) for their troubles anyway.

I'm not going to loose any sleep over this, I suggest that you don't either. They will learn the error of their ways... when it is too late for them.

You guys just concerntrate on you. all your efforts should now be plowed into making the Falklands a success story, a triumph of human spirit and ( self ) determination!! Go for it guys, and don't let anything hold you back!!!

And the Argentine's financial standing in the world creaks like a rusting iron gantry falling into the sea.

And they have not paid back many loans or money that they owe which is technically stealing.

    Theft is bad Karma.

    @13
The cartoon is incorrect because England on her own did not colonise the portrayed countries, it was Great Britain.

Egypt is run by the Egyptians now not Great Britain -(Britain has handed Egypt back). So no theft.

Argentina still wishes to steal the Falkland Islands and South Georgia

India was handed back to the native population in the late 1940s, therefore it is no longer as you presume, ' stolen.'

Argentina still wishes to steal FI and SG.

Canada is an independent country -it is no longer British-therefore it is no longer as you presume,'stolen.'

Argentina still wish to steal FI and SG.

Jamaica was handed to the Jamaicans in 1973-therefore it is no longer as you presume 'stolen'

Argentina still wish to steal FI and SG

Ireland is no longer part of the UK, so it is no longer as you presume, 'stolen.'

Argentina still wish to steal FI and SG

Boersland is no longer owned by Britain , so it is no longer as you presume, 'stolen'.

Argentina still wish to steal FI and SG

Malta is no longer owned by Britain, so it is no longer as you presume, 'stolen'

Argentina still wish to steal FI and SG

Gibraltar was ceded to Britain by treaty from Spain so it was not stolen.

Argentina still wish to steal FI and SG

I, have got this right-Argentina currently steals and wants to steal so it is (by your pronouncement), going to recieve bad Karma- however not if it returns other people's money and property.
    Salute

    @14 Joe Bloggs

Book is not out yet (ISBN: 9780571290321) but I imagine Amazon will have it cheaper than the Telegraph.

There has been rumours about this attack on the 'net for some time and I was unsure as to their veracity but its seems it did happen.

@15 Is there a similar cartoon for what Spaniards did? Or would that just be a page covered in blood?

    15 Pete Bog LOL!!!

Any of you Argentine / La Campora posters have anything else to say before we move on????? anyone??? anyone at all??

( sound of tumbleweed rolling past )

I guess that's it for the “Theft is bad Karma” arguement............

Lets talk about how much of a success the Falkland Islands are about to become.........and what a sh*t state Argentina is in at the moment!

    Who wants to go first?

The Falkland islanders could soon be very rich in the months and years ahead
Oil Prospectors come to drill in the South Atlantic ocean.
The Islanders granted to them all an off shore drilling licence
The Argentines are up in arms and brimming with emotion.

This is our oil The Argies Cry , But no one is actually listening
We want that oil the Falkland islanders are stealing.
Not quite sure why all the fuss the Falkland don’t belong to them
CFK is mad as hell you can actually hear her squealing.

The Argentines have tried all the tricks to throw a spanner in the works
Putting Blockades in the oilmen’s path to make them go away.
But the Islanders are having none of that and Britain supports there move
Ships still come 8,000 miles they have another way.

No matter what you try to do you Argentines will never succeed
We Islanders know we cannot trust them no matter what they say.
The People living there want to remain British
So our message to you Argentines give up now and fade away.

I challenge you to write a similar/better poem than @19 on a subject of your choice to prove you have not got the intellectual capacity of a Balsalm Bog.

(No offence intended to the plant population of the delightful Falkland Islanders)
