And he is saying what the rest of us knew all along,
Spain is in the plug hole,
And trying to pass the buck onto Gibraltar,

    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
    Leave them alone,
    Its your sink, your plughole,
Your drain, so go down it quietly please.

Well its pretty obvious its the same distraction technique as used by CFK in Argentina to distract attention away from their economies.

Spain has fallen off a cliff with over 25% unemployment and worse to come and Argentina is closely following behind.

As their economies worsen, expect more childish antiques and increasingly bizarre behavior to hide from the truth.

Aussie Sunshine...how Aussie are you really??? My guess, not much...more a plastic Aussie.

I certainly doubt that you or your family have lived long enough in Australia to know and realise the importance of our links to Britain and America.

As for this story, yes, the party in question may be a left wing party, but is it wrong in pointing out the bleeding obvious...that the Spanish government like its former colony, Argentina, is using a nationalistic distraction in the form of Gibralter, to take the minds of the Spanish public away from their true problem, the national economy.

*7 Spain has the right to defend what it sees as correct. If they want to recover Gibraltar it is their right and nobody can take that away from them. The Spanish Government has been defending its right to recuperate Gibraltar since it lost it...not because it is in economic difficulties now.

*8 Isolde you are a pain in the a*****´arent you??

    @9 Argentine Sunshine

Having visited Gibraltar on many occasions it is plainly evident that both Spain and Gibraltar profit from being different states. The Rock attracts tourists to the region and provides jobs for Spanish workers.

In any case Spain has no rights to Gibraltar just like Argentina has no rights to the Falkland Islands. But it is a great distraction ploy used by governments in trouble to distact a gullible electorate away from poor political governance. WAKE UP.

*12 Spain has EVERY RIGHT to get back Gibraltar..only they doing it the wrong way... They should buy real estate and businesses on the rock just like they have done in the UK. Buy them out.

Spain has already enough tourists in Spain. It doesn´t need the “ tourists” coming to Gibraltar.

*11 “square and fair” hahaha read your history and see what was square and fair as you have no idea what you are talking about.

@14 Every time you “open your mouth”, all I hear is a fart. And not a good one. Just barely noticeable air. But I'm still pressing the MoD to deploy “adequate” UK forces. Example: Spanish watercraft crosses into BGTW. One warning. A couple of minutes to check on compliance. Then, appropriate action. Blow it up or sink it. Acceptable action under international law in respect of an attempted invasion or unauthorised intrusion.

    Aussie,
    Now don’t be silly,
    This is 2012, not 1812,
And the true fact is, no country to, that even resembles democracy, has the right to conquer or invade another country, full stop,
    And you know it,

But if you wish to turn the clocks back,
Then all countries have a right to invade anyone, and that includes invading. Argentina and Spain,

    So be sensible,
Spain like argentina has not rights, moral, legal or otherwise.

Becareful because soon it will be Britain who will not be able tobuy a decent meal. The tide is turning........

What this party says sounds right, austerity is a disaser for Spain so Rajoy, unlike Cristina, really does need a scapegoat. Doesn't mean the British position on Gibralter is right of course! Interesting too to see the British nationalists revelling in the Spanish version of George Galloway's party, we know how seriously they take it when the Argies talk about him!

    Btw I don't think aussie_sunshine is Argentine, I think he's Spanish
