Oh great, another biased Clarin poll! Keep dreaming haters, ma'am will remain in firm control until the last day of her administration, in 2015 at the earliest =) I predict she will gain new momentum from the eventual return of the frigate and the shutting down of the Clarin printing monopoly, letting her allies win the midterms on a constitutional reform ticket. Interesting that the right wing opposition are promoting Scioli though, he would be a disaster as President and hopefully the people who voted 71% for left candidates will see that as the kiss of death for him...

What's the betting that FatBoy and La Camping It Up have the fight of their life if they turn out to 'manage' the demonstration.

That's not true because Argentine around the world love and support CFK 100% it's the english community that will like to see CFK fail to place someone like menem, dhualde, videla or galtiery in power, so they can theft all Argentina's natural resources with IMF rules and dictatorship.
VIVA CFK! The best president Argentina had in 40 years, just to prove my point I invite anyone here to give us a name of a better Argentina president or even a candidate for that matter. Good luck looking for the niddle in the hey stack.

Could somebody who has experienced a saucepan demonstration please explain to me the finer art of one?

Does everyone have their own dedicated saucepan, do you just take one off the stove on your way out the door or do cheap purpose-built models get handed out by the demonstration organisers when you turn up? Please explain, I am intrigued.

Maybe it's not the same for everyone. Maybe Danny Baker on Radio 5 could add it to his sausage sandwich game.

    On a less serious note:

I think CFK should rename the ARA Libertad the ARA Islas Malvinas. If she ever gets her hands on it she can say “we have the Islas Malvinas!”

Everyone here cheering the title are english not a single Argentine to speak of and that my friends is the lies the english feed themselves to go on stealing and murdering people around the world like the WMD excuse to murder Muslims and theft oil and natural resources.

It shouldn't be hard if it's truth there should be at least one other name for each political party. Unless the title of this report is Taylor for war mongers, terrorists and filthy cowards.

    The Argentina sorrow that,

The Argentina Governments has regularly cycled among corrupt elites who cared nothing at all for the poor and socialist governments trying to redress the failure caused by elites who would the spend the country into bankruptcy and social disintegration ,followed by military juntas that try to clean up the mess, and that would then reinstall the corrupt elites.
This cycle effectively defines the Argentina History.

You could decorate many many detail this Country History

    Just an example that ;

in 1930th years the corrupt elite overthrew the socialist president Hipolito Yrigoyen with the assistance of Standart Oil to install the right wing José Uriburu..later in order to preserve the wealth generated from Agricultural export to British Empire ,the Argentine government signed the scandalous “” ROCA RUNCIMAN “” trade agreement which allowed Britain to hoard its goods in Argentina while giving Argentina only a minimal exporting quota.....

that was just an example from Argentina History.

Do you want another examples ?

For example 1945 th years ..Peron..Credits..Britain connections.

    a little ?..ok !

.........................1/4 foods British importing foods come from Argentina
    on credit...during 1940 th years...
Britain was serious in debt to Argentina..when Peron demanded that Britain pay up,he nearly collapsed the British Economy and Britain had to ask to USA to intervene..............

    & 21

Peron purposefully picked unneccesary fight with Britain (he demanded Falkland Islands back in 1945 ) and USA,upset at Argentina's bullying of close near countries.

Peron's most scandalous money wasting was financing an Austrian war refugee Ronald Richter who claimed to have come up with a way to harness energy from cold fusion...who spent hundreds millions dollars on his scheme and caused international panic in 1951...when announced that Argentina has produced that fusion reactor before US/Russia made...for a month though sceptical worried that some Nazi refugees might actually pushed the Argentina run by Peron to the front of atomic race.
eventually the army ,which had installed Peron, overthrew him in 1955.

Yea sure for IMF and WTO someone like M-- - who takes such liberties with tax payers revenues might help them, but for regular Argentine who have to live on some expensive IMF hand out who do you think they will vote? CFK that's who. It doesn't surprise you mention Maric since he would be leading a gay parade on Sunday.

    “We Argentine love CFK ”

Which is why you live in Canada...... typical Argentine logic that.

CFK has certainly been good for the Falkland Islands as her government's actions have thrust the long dormant FIG MLA's onto the world stage (took you lot long enough to pull your fingers out mind) to explain what really happens in the South Atlantic, and to dispute the Argentines poisoned version of history.

Now more and more journalists have visited the Islands to see that the Argentines have been spouting an endless stream of bullsh1t about the islands, not mentioning the antagonism built up by the Argentines with the USA, Spain, Ghana, Canada and just about anyone (even in South America) that they can attack, whilst portraying themselves as blameless.

In my opinion although I feel sorry for the Argentines, the continued presence of CFK will have exactly the opposite effect of what the Malvanistas wish.

Hopefully the ICJ will be involved and all the Argentine's crap about history and the denial of the UN Charter will be thrown out and propel the islands to more prosperity and further self-autonomy.

Can't wait to see a flood of journos visit the islands to report on the referendum next year. Another few nails in the coffin of Argentina's false claim, methinks after they leave thinking “This is not Argentina or a colonially oppressed people kept hostage by the military.”

    @ 33 Pirat-Hunter

“We Argentine love CFK and from #11 to now I being proving it. Not even one name yet for a better candidate.”

You have shown time and again that don't have a clue to national economy and now you don't understand why nobody has given a name for a better candidate.

The simple reason is that one needs a deep knowledge of Argentine politicians in order to propose a candidate who is NOT corrupt - provided one such exists.

Roberto Lavagna could be a possible candidate except at 70 he is a too old, but at least he understands national economy.

“According to the latest polls from Poliarquía, 40% of interviews indicate that Cristina Fernandez is losing control of her administration and 20% believe she has already lost the control.” - but again, you don't understand what that means.

    Let's see how N-8 unfolds.

As ElaineB asked: “'Argentines' not living in Argentina may love CFKC but, if it is true, why are they living in other countries?”

Why are you hiding in Canada instead of living in Argentina?

#50 that's funny, with maric as candidate chances are you'll never have electricity to see him theft tax payers revenues. And you can forget Argentina will ever ever pay anything back. The man doesn't even pay the electric bills of Buenos Aires. The only thing maric can do is lead the gay parade this weekend. If you follow this link you will see what CFK is doing to clean up Argentina.
    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/energy/oilandgas/9646826/Argentina-told-to-seize-up-to-19.2bn-of-assets-from-Chevron.html
#52 homo-terrest are you sure you are a homo and not a circus clown, maric is like USA neither need help looking bad just hand them a gun and they both will eventually shoot themselves in the foot. I'll be here to remind you this day if maric ever gets elected. And i do mean if ever since 16 million Argentine from Buenos http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/energy/oilandgas/9646826/Argentina-told-to-seize-up-to-19.2bn-of-assets-from-Chevron.html will have to die to forget the blackouts maric brought to them this year. And let's not even talk about the homeless who got shot by marics police thugs.
#53 I offer the opportunity to people right here to silence me by posting a better candidate then CFK and all you English people done is waste it insulting me rather then expose your candidate, check it out from post #11 until now not even one worth mentioning, well just one, forest grump but he was a fictional character and disqualified to be a candidate for president. And last time I checked 100% of my family who are all Argentines supports CFK, while the english here don't, who do you think I will support? CFK is the best candidate to be president of Argentina ask the Argentine people.
#55 your claims against Argentina as a brit. Is laughable, you would have a lot more credibility if you where black from Africa. Besides Argentina has no nuclear defence program to be placed in the same context with those nations you mention, not even mentio

It was really interesting when I was in argentina and you mention the name kirchner, shop owners would give you a snare and gesture like spitting and yell never mention that name. I seen it all over in the country, they absolutely hate her botoxed guts.
You know Troy, pirate pete has no right to call himself an argentine, he is a mal adjusted Canadian and should really address him as a Canadian.

My sincerest and heartfelt apologizes to any Canadians reading, but you let alex vargas in your country.

In two more days is the big protest. Any see that picture of senator fuckhead....I mean fernendez in the Herald? He was tilted back laughing like the diabolical joker (that he is). He is the biggest joke in the argentine senate.....except when cuntina herself speakas to the senate.....two more days.

UK 'is owed £800m in weapons loans'

Egypt is repaying £12m a year on defence loans of just over £100m

Argentina ,, was lent more than £50m to pay for defence equipment, including £45m which was loaned in 1979 to buy equipment later used in the invasion of the Falkland Islands. Argentina has debts to the UK totalling £130m but has made no repayment arrangements.
Iraq was shown to owe £5.5m for equipment

Zimbabwe had been loaned £35m for five Hawk jets between 1989 and 1992.

I am curious how this might play out when it finally comes - maybe:
    1. CFK hides and makes no appearance or comment until after it or
    2. CFK co-opts the protestors message and proclaims 'i stand with the protesters' or
    3. Violence erupts and police are used to quell the disturbance and later the
protests are branded as acts of terror by a few
I pick #2 because CFK is unpredictable and just might try anything to save face.. but we'll see.
Side question: Does anyone know if Argentines can recall elected officials?

CFK is the poster child of extreme arogance. She is incapable of errors, hence scapegoats. She sets a course and will never deviate and adapt in order to better serve her public. Number 3 is the most likely scenario. She and her lagards have been spewing and foaming at the mouth about the “small” group of people that is doing the protesting. September it was all across the major cities of Argentina. She continues to force her will, despite her total lack of competence.

#72 Or #4. Ship returns, poor majority rally round their champion Cristina, her supporters win the 2013 midterms and allow her to run again in 2015, which of course she wins. Some continue to protest as it is a free country, but majority don't shell out their time and effort to struggle for a return to the 90s which would of course be against their own interests

The only way the ship will return is if oligarchy CFKC pays up. This will go against her tub thumping about 'never yielding' and appealing to the ego of her followers.

Even the most loyal supporters of CFKC that I know are turning against her. They have realised that she is hopeless without Nestor pulling her strings. Even he knew she was a crackpot and kept her on a tight leash. (Or knocked her about as has been widely reported).

You need to wake up bk, that ship sailed and as far as argentina is concerned, fall off the flat the earth.

#69 What “dogs”?! Does it make you a dog to say your not going on a protest you don't approve of, a protest against policies and people you support and who you know work for your own interests?! OK then, British “dogs”, which of you didn't turn up to the October 20 anti-austerity demos?!

#76 Good link, the Cristinista arguments reported by the article struck me as more reasonable than the opposition ones, but what does it have to do with the ship?!
