    “On the contrary it is a paradise in every aspect with a very close knit community with a strong economy which allows its inhabitants to enjoy an enviable standard of living.” As opposed to the shanty towns some malvinistas claim it to resemble.

    The ship in the foreground is a Taiwanese jigger. It might look rusty but all the black marks down its side are made by staining from squid ink. The squid tend to release their protective ink as they are pulled up the side of the vessel.

    I wouldn't worry, they don't even have the where with all to take back their flagship back from Ghana, let alone attempt a snatch on the Falklands, those aspirations are dead and buried.

    No wonder Argentina wants to blockade the Islands!
    Just imagine if the members of the C24 actually visited the Falkland Islands as recommended by the UN to find out what really happens as opposed to the lies perpetrated by Argentina.

    You can bet that Argentina will want as few South Americans to visit tthe Falkland Islands as possible to hide the truth.

    Word of mouth is avery powerful medium.

    This is another small nail in the coffin of Argentina's misleading claim.

    @9 and we also are being lead to believe that they are antisemetic. (Poe's Law, call your office , some people need to try harder. I've notice this meme emerging since the recent Iran stories).

    And it is meaningless if they ~are~ anti-british as much as it would be if they were antisemetic. Being antisemetic doesn't give you the right to kill, harass or disenfranchise Jews, any more than being anti-british doesn't give you the right to invade a peaceful island, hold guns to people's heads, land mine it indiscriminately, including children, get trounced, and then claim that it is still yours that the invasion wasn't your fault all the while celebrating that dirty war's last hurrah with a 2-peso coin and insisting that your right to colonize their home by force of arms or kleptocratic bureaucracy is inline with the UN Charter and C24.

    Another disconnected central American being “swayed” via an all expense payed journey to some obscure wind swept corner of the world that no one gives a hoot about. What else would these “Cetral American Journalists” say when they have been wined and dinned by a bunch of crooks.

    @12 -PRORG

    The only crooks relating to the Falklands are the Argentinians. You are the ones trying to steal someone else's land and homes from them.

    These journalists are getting to see the Falklands for what they are, and not just what they are told they are by Argentine liars.

    By the way, if the Falklands are so windswept and obscure that no one gives a hoot about them, why does the Argentine government constantly bitch on about them? I mean surely they don't care about them?

    Yes, an usurped teritory. The Liars here are the occupiers who send the two imported Bozos throughout Central America to deceive public opinion, claiming to be Island Natives, crash regional meetings through misrepresentation, then go on CNN and lie their way through the the entire intrview. The Central Americans that I know here in the USA know he same history that the Argentines know and they have and will always be on Argentinas side. Just as they are in football matches they are in politics. Plain and simple.

    No one besides Argentina and the UK really gives a hoot about the Malvinas. Argentina “bitches” because they belong to it and have a right to it. Why do you Limey's bitch so much when Argentina claims them? Just because of oil being there, not because you have any right to them. You gained them through Piracy and thievery and you will be mabe to return them or pay a price.

    So you know the same history that Argentinians know? Not something I would brag about. I know the Argentine version too and sadly it is lacking in many respects: truth and hard facts being a major omission. And don't condemn us or Luis Velasquez until you have visited the Falkland Islands. Or are you afraid we would 'deceive' you too?

    We Falkland Limeys love our Islands because they are our home. We loved our home before there was oil or annoying Argentine neighbours. Is your biased, poisonous opinion going to change that?

    If you believe that the Falklands belong to Argentina then you have two choices to evict the occupying power.

    1) Forcibly remove the occupying.

    2) Get a legal judgement that demands a handover of the Islands to Argentina.

    Put up or shut up. Why does Argentina do neither? A = Because a valid claim doesn't exist.

    (15) honoria (The Kelperette with good music taste)

    As you maybe already know, I’m quite vocal in my support of the “Double Constituency” very clear. (In favor)

    More recently I’we expressed my views on the timing and emplacement of the new projected “Deep Sea Harbor” at Puerto Williams. (Too rush, too shallow)

    My opinion about the above article is that....., if the FIG couldn’t get more than a reference about “unlocked doors”, “close knit community” and “nature” from this journalist for the many thousands of £Sterling his little trip did cost…………., then “Someones” are throwing serious good money out of the window.....(And “Someones” are on the other side grabbing it.)

    Anybody that has traveled a bit in life knows that just in a place like the luuuuuvely County Caithness there are so many places like that, that one would need dozens of hands (with their respective fingers) to count them……….

    Kind regards

    The less people who 'give a hoot' about our islands the better I say. These deadbeats are almost as divided with each other as those on the Argentine and Falklands sides. One says they don't want the islands. One says they do want the islands. And one says they want joint control of the islands. And that's about it. There are only 3 of them with all the various tags they use.

    The only thing that unifies them is their deadbeatity.

    Chuckle chuckle.

    Oooooops................. Something happened with the first paragraph of my post (18)....... I'll repeat it.....:

    “As you maybe know, I’m quite vocal in my support of the Argentinean rights over the Malvinas/Falkland Islands......
    As you may have noticed I also have taken an interest in them Islands local affaires....”

    (19) Joe Bloggs
    I read that “Your Little Something” in Puerto Estanley is further delayed for some 6 weeks...........
    In “Oily Malvinas Speak” that means....... End of January 2013.......
    Doesn't it?

    Puerto Estanley .?? Where exactly is that Think?? Other than your imagination.

    Things go well for the Islanders. Not too well for Argentina. But then it's always been that way.

    The British have both history and international law on their side.

    “Puerto Estanley”

    Stanley is called Stanley.

    Not Port Stanley. Port Stanley refers to the port not the whole city.

    @23 - Bongo

    The Price the UK has to pay will be having to listen to the Argies cry, beg, stamp their feet, cry (again), and complain constantly.

    However, the UK makes lots of very good standard ear plugs, so we won't have to actually listen to any of it. LOL

    @14 - ProAG

    The difference between the UK's claims and Argentina's claims to the Falklands are this.

    The UK has EVIDENCE that PROVES that Argentina's claims are LIES.

    Argentina has NO evidence at all, just LIES and FAIRY TALES.

    Stuff like that doesn't go down well with the International Court of Justice, which is why Argentina won't take this 'dispute' to them, or with the UN either.

    Keep crying Argentina, you'll never get your thieving hands on the Falkland Islands.

    @20 -Think

    I 'think' I'll start calling you 'Thick' from now on, you don't even know the correct name of the captial of the Falkland Islands.

    However, the truth is now out and Argentina's lie have been laid bare for all to see. Support for Argentina's claim from Central and South America is already shallow and half-hearted, and after March 2013 I suspect it will become none existant.

    The Truth Will Out!
