    My thoughts exactly.

If CFK tries to steal from China the results won't be pleasant.

However, on the other hand, Argentina needs this kind of investment badly, and good luck to them.

Only a deluded meglamaniac would do something stupid like try to renationalise it once it starts making money...Oh... ;)

I wonder what dialect the argentines will start learning?....Mandarin...Cantonese, Hakku, Wu and Min, Xiang and Gan and the main ones they should focus on.

    Cue: Darth Vader death march.

One of the good things about China encroaching on the USA’s turf, is that all those that have despised the USA’s hegemony are going to learn that the phrase “trabajar como Chino” actually means something.

True story.....a CHinese factory screwed up and a supply of tainted baby formula made it to the USA. A lot of baby's became very ill. It was traced back to the factory. It was lack of standards. On day one of the investigation they accused the plant manager, day 2 they convicted, day 3 they excuted with a single bullet throught the head. They will get all they want in the Chinese.

    @Poppy

    I remember that story.

Many many babies became ill in China.
    Several died.

Formula was found to be contaminated with Melamine.

    Factory was dealt with severely.

Meanwhile, the world is being flooded with Chinese counterfeit products and cheap copies.

Not only are the legitimate products and companies undermined, but unsafe goods are produced and sold to unknowing buyers.

    Argentina has sold her soul,
    And will be duly punished,

    Except CFK of course,
She will retire and leg it with her billions…

Exactly Troy.....everyone flocked to China because of the lack of standards. They are slowly implementing modern and safety standards and that coupled with fuel shortages, China is no longer a hot spot. Too expensive to deal with, and the politics.
But the point is, China does not play when it comes to handing out penalties. Argentina has no idea what she did, but then she does not care, how much went into her personal pockets.

#1 To play devils advocate, there is an element of Chinese culture that fears and reveres the “dragon lagy” =)
