As I suspected, the social programs are used to buy votes. Those that don't vote for Cristina get the shaft. A lot of children as young as 10 are smoking paco to curb their hunger. There are a lot of foundations that try to help these people, but they receive minimal or no government support.

I have mentioned that in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, there are 6,000 homeless people sleeping in parks, abandon buildings, bus station, etc. They are suffering hunger and sickness...but not enough help is received from the Obama administration which I believe is worst than the argentine leader administration.
the bad economy and the high unemployment continues...is sad. Everyone deserves a clean, safe, decent place.

@17 In the neighborhood next to mine, a bunch of disgusting scum bags smashed a boys head in with a rock after the family was walking home after a dinner out. Also, there was a fire fight on the other side of town and a mother was walking home with her baby. The drug dealers ceased the gun fight temporarily to shoot the baby in the head and take cheap shots at the mother. This happens every day here in Argentina.

The police are pathetic. Their performance on Wednesday night didn't inspire much confidence. Stop being in denial. If one of your family members was murdered, and the police knew and didn't do anything, I don't think you'd be saying Cristina was so great. She doesn't care enough to acknowledge the problem.

Perhaps eventually these people will be treated for their addictions, and those not addicted educated for an occupation. If neither of those work, then they are on their own. But at least show as a society the effort of giving people redemption. It is then up to each individual to decide what to make of it.
