Dengue alert in Paraguay; SMS awareness campaign to fight mosquitoes

Paraguay’s Health Ministry announced it will appeal to SMS messages as part of the awareness campaign to help prevent the mosquito transmitted dengue disease which this year has already caused 70 deaths and thousands of infections. Read full article

    Yes Chris we do do some things well. The army was round my barrio doing a survey and collected a lot of disused tyres in the baldios which went to the incinerator

    Well, TTT/ Nozzy, it seems there IS Dengue Fever in Argentina, afterall.

    The other, responsible, governments seem to have a plan and a budget to contain it and prevent it.
    Meanwhile, Argentina sweeps it under the rug - while her people suffer.

    A familiar story.
