In a democracy, following your leader or supporting them is only presumed if you actually support their viewpoints and policies. To support a leader blindly, irrelevant of their policies, just makes you a sycophant and a malleable lapdog. He's pretty pathetic.
    Viva La Junta, indeed.

Someone likes to stay in the spotlight!

I'm sure the next president will find he is devoted to them too.

As for knowing how to make soup..... well we all know who knows how to eat it, that's for sure.

Who honestly cares what a fat, cheating, drug addict, who can't hold down a job without having a hissy fit and flouncing off, thinks about anything? Did he think before attacking the rich when he was standing next to one of the richest women in Argentina? He is ten IQ points short of a moron.

Has he paid his debts (taxes in italy) yet? Has she paid her debts yet? What do these two have to celebrate other than hiding from their debts?

I am not sure if he paid his debts in Italy. The last time he visited they stopped him at the airport and confiscated the diamond earrings he was wearing in lieu of payment . They have so much in common; both dodging the bailiffs; both an embarrassment to Argentina.

Clarín, when reporting this item, also carried another piece about Maradona. He is alleged to have said that he would not be returning to Argentina because “ es una mierda”.

    Strange!

CFK and the Argentina government cannot be trusted.

We Argetines love CFK because she knows how to deal with pirates. We support her 100% because she doesn't murder other presidents nor does she murder innocent Muslim women and children, like some people, do you all know who some people is? Well you all know who some people is right?

You love her because she does not recognise human rights of islanders or indigenous americans. Because she steals foreign companies, insults britaon and her war dead. Because she falsifies her nations financial status and lets militant groups attack shipping offices. She's a nasty bunny boiler.

Pirat Hunter - La Kretina allows the indigenous peoples of the stolen territory of Argentina to be murdered for racial reasons, she permits people to starve to death because they just do not have any money to buy food, she steals and robs from the Argentine people amongst other things.

She also perpetuates the lies and fairy stories about the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands - but then she is a paragon of virtue, isn't she?

While I don't like Menem because of his neoliberalism, it seems Maradonna's personal reasons for backing him are sound. And politically he was never a full supporter as he didn't back his party's candidate in 1998, as the article says. And while the article mentions ALL previous Presidents, the only quotes it can find on President Duhalde are negative, and indeed the only support he seems to have given President de la Rua was to prefer him over Duhalde! So not quite the unthinking nationalist steryotypicla Argie the title might have suggested! And great to hear him coming out against Clarin =) Lovely picture of Cristina btw =)

How can people like BK and PH be so proud to be such unquestioning sycophants. Perhaps because their savings are in sterling and dollars...

Especially BK with his/her skin crawling, drooling devotion to the Argentine President, not healthy at all.

    Muslim UAE
    - even Maradona could not use a Muslim country to declare Cristina as the Daughter of God, Defender of the True Faith, and the Inheritor of Chavenzian Bolivarism.

The game of Iconism is unfolding ...
