The UK economy grew by more than previously thought in 2012, official figures have shown. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) revised its growth estimate for the year up from no growth to 0.2%. The UK isnt -finished- but the days of 5% yoy economic growth 25% yoy property inflation are over. Just a steady readjustment as other countries in the world catch up.

According to other economists that growth figure is a gross underestimate. Car production at all an all time high, aerospace booming, weapons production very healthy, housing now starting to motor, you can't find tradesmen to carry out household jobs easily. People are paying down personal debts, spending more carefully and banks are now very careful lending only to dead certs. On top of that we are providing loads of jobs to imigrants from poorer countries. Unfortunately that seems to include a few noxious trolls....

Argentina’s industrial production marked a modest 0.2% rise in January If you actually read it, you'll find that industrial production was the only good thing. Argieland either flat-lined or saw a 1.2% reduction. So GOOD FOR THE UK. Perhaps the article heading should be UK surpasses failing argentina yet again?
