It is people like the Islanders that make me proud to be British, a small nation with giant footsteps and hearts of oak.

I apologise to all readers for once saying that this Referendum was being run by a bunch of unsupervised amateurs. Clearly, with a week to go they are now being supervised.

As with the majority of your comments Doveoverdover, you are basing your comments on mere assumption, because you are not based in the Falklands and therefore truly lack any knowledge of what is occurring in the Falklands.

I recommend you do one of two things...

    1. Move to the Falklands and improve your daily knowledge of the territory so when you comment you can be correct, or
    2. Stop commenting with the belief that you possess superior knowledge than others. It is an extremely tedious trait of yours when you attempt to provide your version of 'wisdom' when it is absent of fact and knowledge.

If you refuse to accept my advice, you will continue living in a word of ignorance and will be constantly challenged by others.

@6 Move back, you mean? No, thanks. As for basing my tedious comments on assumptions, I see you are unable to bring any counter assumptions of your own, regarding the article above that is, to the table.

You could always ignore my posts like I do with the likes of Conqueror and briton.

@7 Oh, goodie. The diddyman “ignores” me. It's always a good sign when someone “ignores” something. Means they have no answers. Well, no polite ones any way.
@8 And here we have the slugbucket. No idea what he's talking about but he slings it out anyway because that's what his “government” tells him to do. I wonder if he's on as much as AR50 a day? Probably not. None of what he types is worth more than about AR5. But he does know what toilet paper is like! In argieland they use it as “money”. Perhaps the Falkland Islands Government would consider changing the name of THEIR country to British Falkland Islands? After all, Canada has British Columbia. It's still not ruled by Britain. And what a lovely poke in the eye for the argies every time they see it! Anyway, how you doing, guzzle? Still typing so you can ignore the hunger pains? You do realise that in the quite near future there will be a “re-education” programme? I think you're already on the list. Have to change your tune then. Or you won't eat!

Gustbury- can you explain more about slaves to government? Maybe in Arg you all have to do what CFK says - or if not the !inspectors” and other aggressive type folks come knocking on the door.
Here it is a bit different - have never worked for Govt in my life and nor have many others here!
    Desperate days for Argentina now.

The Argentines can laugh and point, but that is all. They will never have the Falkland Islands. Never.

As ElaineB quite rightly says, the Islands will never be Argentinian, no matter how much TMBOA stamps her foot and shouts her head off for 3 hours and 40 minutes on AR TV.

I wonder if she will have a 'few days off ill' after the referendum. Ha, ha, ha.

Take notice Argys this is how democracy works, I know its hard to believe after so many years of the bully boys knocking on your doors and telling you who to vote for and how to vote. and I know that it will take some time to sink into your heads as you know nothing different but honestly this is how it all works and one day you may see it working in your country.

I was told by someone recently that Doveoverdover (#) once lived on the Islands but was told his work was not in thinking with the Islanders so he left to go live with Argentines. The informer may be wrong but Doveoverdover (#) his attitude is so much like a Britain who has lost interest in his home because he could not get what he wanted.
    Still cant as it happens.

We will vote yes because we know that doing so we can further embed our existance as years go by. To say No right now would be the wrong thing to do and would not allow you to go forward as Kelpers intend.

I am not troubled if you ignore me as you are on my ignore list after your recent comments, along with Think, Marcos, Alejandro, Raul, etc., and you fit in very well with them.

The Referendum has been managed very well and the head of the International Observers has said so himself. He mentioned his concerns with regards to the multiple voting issue and it seems like it has been addressed. But you would know this if you had intimate and current knowledge of the Falklands.

Comment 11 on the “Falklands’ lawmakers underline significance of casting the ballot on March10/11” story sticks me my mind, when you say the Falklands are governed from London and you make reference that the Falklands are a colony. This is simply incorrect. Your views are based on these two incorrect assumptions. Both of which are based on the simple fact that you do not live here and do not see how the Falklands governs itself. I have worked for FIG and I have been to Gilbert House, I have seen the Falklands governing itself. My point is that you haven't and you base your comments on incorrect assumptions.

I will vote 'Yes' so the Falkland Islanders can continue to determine their own future and benefit from a democracy. Despite Doveoverdover's pearls of 'wisdom'.

I don't provide assumptions, I provide fact. I will leave the assumptions to you while you are 8,000 miles from what you are commenting on.

    The referendum will come,
    And the referendum will go,

CFK will scream and cry, shout and lie,
But the British will come through this like a nice rose,

As always, and the islanders will still be free,
And CFK will just fade away, as her victory turns out to be her very own departure ,lol

What better result could one want lolol.

The UK will end by losing Malvinas-

You can dream but you can't escape reality.

The UK simply doesn't have the willpower to fight for Malvinas.

It will not hold for long.

“The UK does not have the will power to fight for the Falklands.”

Let's see, where did we here that before? could it be Argentina 1981?

In another thread, I castigated you for your ignorance in military matters. I owe you an apology here.
Britain does NOT have the willpower to fight for the Malvinas Islas - as they seem to be located somewhere in Mendoza and BA, we have absolutely no interest in them.
The Falklands are another matter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However,YOU can dream but you can't escape reality.
    #23
If that is the case, why is your President making such a big international case on the issue ? Please explain .

erm ”hello“ lol - ”he“ is completely made-up account, history etc etc: hes a proven sock-puppet who has been caught out in a number of lies about his ”life” by a few posters now.

I cant believe that some people still think theres ANYTHING legitimate about that account - its a total figment of some Malvos imagination.

It was all generated off the back of google-fu, but fell apart rather badly when he claimed to attend some functions in the UK, functions which didnt occur, then mentioned ships in port - that werent (duff info on the internet).

the entire account is fake - trying to give the impression of a pro-malvo Brit.

very sad when you think about it.

What happened in 1981 - enlighten us o wise one.
Would you like to look at some history book and maybe reconsider ?
“ a shaddow of a dobout” ? Posts are supposed to be made in ENGLISH - NOT GIBBERISH.
CFK is developing high end toys. Her sexual propensities are her business and need not be discussed here.

If all Argentinians are as thick as you, we have no problems.
Please continue with you drivel ---- it just confirms our superiority .!

“The UK simply doesn't have the willpower to fight for Malvinas”

Correct. there are no Malvinas to fight for.

But it will fight for the Falkland Islands.

I sincerely hope with your confident attitude you will be spearheading the Argentine attack, in the lead ship (have you got any that still move?) or lead aircraft.

All the best for your unlikey survival, rather you than me chey.

“Falklands’ ballot paper will not have any serial number or identifying marks”

While the Venezuelan voting system has both of those and is double locked with an electronic element too (most countries have either one or the other). Remind me why this is a model of democracy and why Chavez was a dictator???
