Uruguayan president Jose Mujica called for unity and responsibility in Venezuela, ‘to fight for freedom and peace’ and cautioned that big contradictions in a society are not squashed but conducted.     Using your words would have saved an awful lot of trees being felled and “creating a vacuum”.

    So those big clearings in the forest when big trees fall must have been done by the vacuum! I never knew that.

    Why use concise and understandable words when you can ramble on about “big contradictions in society are ‘not squashed but conducted’ ” whatever that means.

    Actually since Chavez's demise, Mujica has come across as the only South American leader who is actually willing to lead!

    He has given out some sound advice and appears to be the only one taking any initiative.
