Described as ‘fantastic’ despite the bad weather over 300 vehicles plus motorbikes, quads, old tractors and horse riders flying Falklands flags and Union Jacks turned out on Sunday in Stanley for a march along the sea front and the Liberation Monument in support of the two-day referendum on the Islands future. Disclaimer & comment rulesAs are prepared to vote tomorrow those born in the islands? Only 59% is considered islanders and the vast majority were not born in the islands. Insurance should be very excited about his first time .. I'm sure the residents of other countries who voted today, which are 80% of all registered, have more experience than you, so guide them so that tomorrow no mistake and end up getting the wrong ballot ..
Mar 11th, 2013 - 05:14 am - Link - Report abuse 0And what is Argentina made up of? Other than thieves and cowards, they are a mix of different cultures and countries that, once the inconvenient original indigenous people had be slaughtered, have been settling there ever since. You're a Hypocrite mate.

Mar 11th, 2013 - 07:01 am - Link - Report abuse 0You obviously care otherwise you wouldn't keep posting on this forum.
Tell me, do La Campora pay you for posting on here? At least the other trolls actually come up with arguments as to why they believe the Falklands are Argentinian, albeit extremely false claims backed up by youtube and that's about it.
Personally it feels to me like you aren't really trying, and that your heart isn't in what you are posting.
But back to the story. Isn't it marvellous to see true democracy in action? Isn't it wonderful to see the Falkland Islanders freely expressing their will and desire as laid out in UNGA resolution 1514?
Argentina has already lost credibility on the international stage. No doubt you will revert to form of bullying, crying, lying, crawling and begging to anyone who will listen. Unfortunately for you the only countries willing to listen these days are your good buddies Iran.
Meanwhile, the Falkand Islands will develop into a very rich place, with regional ties to Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and others, who will welcome the business opportunities that will open up when the oil starts flowing.
Argentina will collapse under the weight of it's own incompetence, refusing to accept responsibility for its actions, and will remain a bitter failure on the world stage.
Go Falklanders! Self Determination rules!
Yes malvineiro1, can you actualy say something for a change rather than just pasting shite.

@1 Is that supposed to be English? There's a lot more to it than just picking a few dozen words out of a dictionary. The idea of a language is about communicating.

Mar 11th, 2013 - 11:39 am - Link - Report abuse 0says the Spanish-implant to South America... geess, enough with the hypocrisy already.
Argentina is a Colony comprised of colonisers.
If you want to go down that route then 97% of people living in Argentina have no right to vote there.... give the land back to the INDIGENOUS peoples you hypocritical moron.
This cannot be a surptise gathering surely?
Mar 11th, 2013 - 11:41 am - Link - Report abuse 0If the Islanders cannot make a fanfare out of this then who can?
Nice to see it though, especially the horses.
Just for a chuckle I had a look on one of the online bookies websites for the odds on the referendum.
Mar 11th, 2013 - 12:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Strangely enough the return on betting on a Yes vote don't compete favourably with putting your stake in a savings account for the duration of the referendum vote.

Mar 11th, 2013 - 01:42 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Well the time now is for the Argentines to start leaving the Islanders to get on with their lives and to start apologizing to your own oppressed people for making them suffer while you have tried to bully a little population in the Atlantic Ocean.
Several people have said it before but I will say it again. While your Country is obsessed with retaking the Islands your neighbors around you are probably making plans to work with the Islanders in the new oil extraction phase. You could have been a part of this exciting time and you were offered the chance but because of your human greed and total contempt for the Falkland Islanders you have shot yourselves in the foot and I doubt very much that you will ever be given the chance to come back on board.
Billions of pounds are going to flow into the Falkland purse very soon and your Country could easily have had a share in it had you not been so stupid to believe that we did not exist.
Damn! the circus came to town and I no tickets!
Mar 11th, 2013 - 01:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Tickets no good mate, you need a passport to enter someone elses country, even to visit the cicus, sorry!

Mar 11th, 2013 - 02:40 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Wonderful parade folks. Congratulations, you are getting great press coverage all round the world and the Argentinian thugs and bullies are frozen like frightened rabbits in spotlight of international opinion as the world becomes aware of the lies that they have been telling.
Your quiet dignified and civilised British spirit is an example to everyone except perhaps to your neighbours who continue to descend even further into chaos and confusion like a poor demented old soul in its dying throes.
The referendum leaves no doubt as to the future of the Falkland Islands with unwavering support from Blighty. May the oil start flowing and make you even more prosperous and secure in the future.
@18 Isn't Mummy teaching you to speak and spell properly? The word is thieves. And home is Spain. Don't worry about their reported financial problems. They are much better off than where you are!
Mar 11th, 2013 - 04:33 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@20 Don't you get free entry? You perform on here for nothing. Do the same in Spain. Perhaps you could get in to some corrida. You're halfway there.
I think that the flock needs more reading also you have no idea about democracy, you can not go dressed like clowns vote, the vote should be challenged.

Democracy to them is so alien,
We must sometimes feel sorry for these poor uneducated, indoctrinated , brain washed fools,
Perhaps one day they will awake to the truth,
That their own government is using the Falklands as a distraction to the demise and collapse of there own country,

We Isanders have told the world and particularily Argentina how we feel. It is not a question of implanted people or stolen territory but the rights of a people to desire their right and the Falkland people desire to remain as a Territory of Great Britain period.
And guess who today rejects it,
Mar 12th, 2013 - 06:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0and who has now suddenly got one million votes, to send to the UN objecting to it ,
