    @1 Think

    Unlike Argentina the British (not English - perhaps you have difficultly understanding that simple concept), doesn't turn down investment opportunity or push away tourists, unlike Argentina does.

    Never has a government done what Argentina has done - basically cut off it's nose to spite it's face. The brilliant CFK economic model has pushed away foreign companies and investors, pushed away tourists, caused massive unemployment, and is now hurling towards a head on clash with Brazil - who let's face it, is much stronger than Argentina politically, economically and militarily.

    Argentines will still need visa's though, most of them are desperate to escape CFK's economic miracle, and we wouldn't want any of them extending their stay in the UK.

    @3 Think or should that read @3 Thick?

    How dare you call anyone a Turnip, You as an argentinian who allow people to rule your country that continually lie, cheat and murder thiere own population.
    How many internatuional bodies are currently condeming your governments financial reporting methods? How much debt has the same government defaulted on? How many of its own population has your government MURDERED in the so called dfirty war? When are the Argentinian people going to wake up and realise. Ask a simple question .... Before beconing president, or marrying Nestor, who was CFK... Was she as rich weith as many DOLLARS in foriegn banks? Are all the millions she has stolen from her own country even invested there? No all the cash she has stolen will be either in the USA or UK invested to make her richer as Argentina goes broke.
    In the name of all that is holy, please wake up and see what is being done in your name.

    @ Thick .....Dear o Dear how far is your mind and sense of history twisted? I assume you are now trying to put the blame for the atrocities commited on the Jewish people at the feet of Britain? Have you ever read any information on world war II.
    The Nazi's (Germans, lead by a chap called Hitler) persecuted the jews and exterminated millions in concentration camps which were situated on land that they had invaded. Far from being party to the extermination of the jews, Great Britain along with its allies defeated Germany and rescvued many more millions of jews before the Nazi's could murder them.
    On so many levels there are comparisons to be drawn between Nazi germany of that period with Argentuina from then till now. Even your country's most famous women ( NOPE NOT THE CURRENT CRUELLA DE VIL) Evita was a nazi sympathiser who encourage nazi waar criminals to flee to Argentina.
    Please try not to be so Argentinian in your twisting oif history and the truth

    @ Thick ... Excuse me but i seriously would disagree...Was it not a Peronist government that carried out the dirty war and murdered 30,000 argentinians? is not the current shower od sh*t that you follow a peronist government? Will be interesting to hear how Cruella De Vil side steps the numerous occasions of Peronist governments throwing Catholic nuns out of helicopters when she meets the new pope.

    Seems common sense is prevailing in the UK. In a bid to prevent damage to an export industry it weighed up the pros and cons and decided its economy would benefit with no change to Brazilian tourism and potentially minor changes to Chinese tourism.

    Considering Argentina ranked 61st on a recent World Economic Forum Travel and Tourism Competativeness Report far far behind Britain's 5th position, it is hardly surprising that some Argentine's would prefer to discuss anything but the article.

    http://www.weforum.org/issues/travel-and-tourism-competitiveness

    It was quite scathing of Argentina's tourism sector.

    Typing in ARGENTINA into the HO visa check crashed the server with a 500 error (server programme error)!

    I think the server programmer must have been too polite to put the real answer: FCUK OFF.

    @7 Sorry? Tell us about all the nazi war criminals that fled to, where was it, argieland. Why would that be? Shall we ask about the name KIRCHNER? GERMAN, isn't it. What's yours? Goebbels? Himmler? Mengele? Eichmann? And, yes, you are responsible for the 30,000. Every one of them. And the tens of thousands of Amerindians. And the 255 British servicemen. And the 3 Falkland Islanders. And you are an accomplice in the murder of the 6,000,000 Jewish people. That came with the very first nazi war criminal you gave sanctuary to.
    @13 I say......
    Well done to Vale! Don't let the lying, thieving crooks get their hands on one more peso. And tell them to stuff their lawsuits where the sun don't shine.
    @18 Let's see. UK GDP(PPP) $2.316 trillion (7th) Brazil GDP(PPP) $2.294 trillion (8th) Argieland GDP(PPP) $746.927 billion (22nd) Seems like argieland doesn't have a purse! 'Cos it's poor. Good!

    How many more people are the governments going to allow,
    Are they deliberately trying to ruin everything?
    They are totally incompetent,

    ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
    Gentlemen
    their are only two kinds of TURNIPS,

    The ones in the ground,
    And the human ones that insult them,
    simple but harsh, hardy and very tasteless.

    And only a turnip would call another, a turnip,
    Just like a bully that picks on others.
    Just a thought.

    Well the vitamin deficiencies have kicked in for poor old Think!

    A poor 1st generation Argentine pensioner, whose parents actually chose Argentina for a better life, has seen his purchasing power drop so markedly and dangerously that he can no longer feed himself properly.

    As posts 1 and 18 show, his memory is failing him. Everyone will notice a marked declined in the quality of his recent postings. So much so that he rarely deviates from a set number of topics now.

    Think, dear frail Think, you have already posted that message you are thinking of typing at post 1 and 18. No need to strain those gnarled, arthritic fingers more than is needed.

    He's even forgotten to use British instead of English. Why he was just saying earlier that this is one of the lessons he has learnt on here. And already that is forgotten too.

    So, so easy!
