The migrants may be emigrating to Uruguay or Brazil, but they would have to be mad to go to Argentina, when all the Argentines and businesses are trying to leave before it collapses.

A bit like deciding to buy a house in Pompeii whilst Vesuvius is erupting!

Those figures belie a worrying trend for Argentina.

Argentina has received half a million Bolivians and Paraguayans. These are low skilled workers and campesinos many of whom are drawn to the “free” public services.

At the same time Argentinians make up the single largest group entering Chile. These Argies are not campesinos.

This is a bad trade off for Argentina. Furthermore it will continue as Argentina becomes increasingly a farming economy and the Chilean economy becomes more sophisticated.

@nerolover #4 i detect a bit of contempt from you towards the new rising empire known as Latin America. Might it be that your ship is sinking and making such comments will help you feel better about the situation.your EU empire is on its knees begging for Latin American business and your nervously laughing like a tragic comedy of smile now cry later?thats the real lmao.EU is at this point in time a bottom feeder in every sense of the word, lmao and trololol.Once the euro collapses or the bankers do what they did in cyprus in all of europe you will realize that like a heavyweight boxer at old age you are finished and step aside for the new heavy hitters.By the way, i hear mugabe has a job opening if your interested.lmao and trololol.

7 metrallo87 (#)Having been to Southern Rhodesia, before the A*P*E was gifted power, I have a little piece of fruit (Pineapple) I would like to present him with. Minus the pin of course. Europe will always come out tops because we are not a bunch of Licorice Allsorts whose national pastime appears to be Coups & Genocide or vice versa.

@8 What is it you think the EU and USA troops do in the middle east?in my opinion genocide and torture because war would be asuming that the other side is at least equiped well enough to fight back.Coups in latin america are 90% of the time known to be the handywork of the CIA to a country who is not playing ball because they are sovereign and the USA knows that Latam countries are 99.9% unwinable wars.and as for the Licorice Allsorts it aint us that came up with political correctness, most of us call it how we see it(like me). As for you coming out on top heres something to think about. as EU(HITLERS idea btw)becomes a dictatorship Latam is coming out of the dark ages in those terms.an example is this my country has been at war for over 50 years(colombian military and paramilitary vs comunist FARC and ELN)but now they are at the peace table tired of so much bloodshed and my point is this Latam has most of its natural resources intact because of such wars while EU and USA have been eating theirs up like there is no tomorow.when the c.r.a.p hits the fan there is only so much you can do with tech and even that has to be mined from africa, latam etc.in europe the winter does not allow for sustainable farming so EU in effect is on life support.as for EU coming out on top ALWAYS is a blind arrogance which could be very costly and one that we should never follow for such arrogance has the power to bring empires crashing and burning i.e USA and EU.

The Fourth Reich won't last as long the Third so you will have plenty of Fritzes to join the 3 million + already residing there. I wonder how they will get on with your new Iranian Allies????
