    Straight in there!
Dampen down the tsunami that is overtaking South America ... Evangelicism (of the US variety).
And, yes, he should tour a number of S.A. countries .. he needs his own tsunami if he is going to go head-to-head with the Vatican establishment.

Evangelism is a Paraguayan, Brazilian, and Uruguayan thing. Look at the crazy protestant churches in Paraguay or Brazil (“universal church” comes to mind). Most of us in Argentina laugh at the evangelical churches.

These loser anglos think Argentines will fawn for their cults just because they are anglo. Maybe the brazilians, uruguayans, and paraguayans worship the Anglo but we want nothing to do with them. And we walk the walk by the diplomatic actions we take constantly against the USA and UK.

But we don't like non-Anglo Europe either so no false hope, my children.

@3 you do realize that Argentina has mid-term elections in October and all the peronists want to use him to their advantage? He won't return to Argentina until after the elections.

I “think” that the FALKLANDERS ought to invite the Pope to see what a transparent vote can do for “ people ” or a “ population”.
