Pope Francis confirmed that he will go to Rio de Janeiro at the end of the July to take part in the Church's World Day of Youth, a gathering of Catholic young people that takes place in a different city every two years. And, yes, he should tour a number of S.A. countries .. he needs his own tsunami if he is going to go head-to-head with the Vatican establishment.
Evangelism is a Paraguayan, Brazilian, and Uruguayan thing. Look at the crazy protestant churches in Paraguay or Brazil (universal church comes to mind). Most of us in Argentina laugh at the evangelical churches.

Maybe the brazilians, uruguayans, and paraguayans worship the Anglo but we want nothing to do with them. And we walk the walk by the diplomatic actions we take constantly against the USA and UK.
But we don't like non-Anglo Europe either so no false hope, my children.

@3 you do realize that Argentina has mid-term elections in October and all the peronists want to use him to their advantage? He won't return to Argentina until after the elections.
