Hi, I’ve just published a novel based in Venezuela which tackles the issues of power and corruption under Chávez within the framework of a fictional story of arms and drug smuggling. The tragedy in the Argentinian economy is very similar.

    Hope you like it.

She is 60 YO and she won't be bleeding anymore, unless somebody puts a 9mm in her skull and gives us all a good rest from the whining and crying and screaming and moaning that she gets up to. Never see the tears though do you.

#21 but really who cares. However won(stole) this election were screwed. Can you imagine trying to turn that economy around and having t answer to the military? Chubby could man handle the military, I don't see the BUS being able to do that. I think from here on out, either the military will be ruling the country or mercosur. Perhaps that is why they allowed Chubby in the South American Latin Club, he turned controls over to mercosur and the BUS is only a puppet president sitting behind the wheel as he always did.
    lol

LOL. Funny to see Europeans and Americans criticizing the South American leaders. Well, it actually makes some sense when you remember they praise incompetent populist clowns such as Margareth Thatcher, Tony Blair, David Cameron, Nicolas Sarkozy and Sílvio Berlusconi... In their bigoted, patronizing and condescendent minds a European leader is automatically more qualified than a South American leader... because of being... European.

Well... in South America we didn't put people like Hitler and Mussolini in power... on contrary, we even sent help to stop the pathetic losers in Europe of killing each other as primitive beasts...

You're welcome, BTW. And if you need advices to take your countries out of the mess created by your highly praised “competent” leaders... just ask.

Oh, I just saw Argentina is about to surpass Portugal in the HDI ranking... LOL.

    No need to attack Portugal.
These lot will stand in line to sell their fellow EU states out in their unison...

Everything is for sale in Europe, countries, grandmothers, honour...

Name your price and you'll get it. If they don't have it, you'll get a plastic copy from China.

They love plastic from China. In fact, they love it so much they even move their production over there...

    @Captain Poppy:

Please, stop assuming that politicians in South America belong to the same lot of the clowns that your people put in power. Unlike Berlusconi, we never heard of political meetings taking place in brothels with prostitutes, we don't have a prince saying he would like to be sanitary pad of a woman (?) almost as ugly as Margareth Thatcher, we don't have dozens of pedophiles in our congresses, we don't see scandals of conservative lawmakers that support family and morality going out with gogo-boys, etc. :)

In other words, we're years and years ahead in terms of quality comparing to the political class you have in your country. NO doubts about it.

  • Captain Poppy

You assume I am English....I am not, nor European. However I will say that our politicians cannot manage to travel with suitcases full of greenbacks.......so perhaps you are years ahead to manage that level of corruption without recourse. But it is your way.

If you look closely at the picture, you can see the old hag is wearing a white bra... it is so obvious that nobody can miss it...... I thought she was only wearing black in public these days ...what a disastrous outfit ...a definite faux pas ..... every woman's nighmare .... she must be livid .... screaming!

Obviously nobody disagreed with her when she asked them if she looked alright in the outfit! The old hag should ask Dilma for a few tips on how to dress properly in public. Even Mujica is dressed better and going by the look of Mujica's facial expression he was not impressed either!

On the subject of bras .. when I was in Buenos Aires 6 weeks ago I did notice a huge number of lingerie shops along Sante Fe Avenue, and come to think of it when I looked at the window displays they were only showing white bras! I suppose it's like being in a communist country ... one colour one style one size fits all.

I expect the official photographer will be issuing a revised photograph when he gets a mouthful from the old hag..

The hoi polloi voted for him because they believed he was of them.

They were right of course and that is why he is a failure on so many levels, after such a good start.

The Pluna fiasco was in large measure down to him and his 12,000 dollars a month he pays to charity out of his emoluments in no way covers the millions of dollars it is costing us all.

But no doubt the lefties like Stevie are happy.

Chile, Colombia and Peru are not part of mercosur but in the Pacific Alliance.
Brazil is separately looking to negotiate with the USA and do with EU.
Paraguay, ostracized by mercosur is re-thinking their relationship with mercosur.
Argentina restricts trade with everyone, including her SA “brothers”.
Venezuela has a man, “The Bus” ready to drive her into the ocean. The military will have a bullet in his head in 18 months as that actions and mismanagement of the past is foaming to a head now.
Uruguay.....like asslips says and acts...what's Uruguay?
The rest of SA....Bolivia, Suriname,Guyana and Equador are insignicant.

That is swelling? You cannot play in the world market if you have nothing to offer other than socialism and the chance of being stolen. BTW........can anyone tell me how is the long forgotten Assange's freedom bell ringing going with his “vacation” in the Ecuadorian Embassy? Sure looks like SA countries are swelling in unity to me........lol
