Apr 23rd, 2013 - 09:19 am - Link - Report abuse 0Aren't those the ones to condemn developing nations for wanting nuclear weapons, threatening them with empty words once in a while?
At the same time as they say nothing at all about the nations that already DO have nuclear weapons. Especially to the only nation on the planet that has actually ever used nuclear weapons against another nation.
It's them, isn't it?
Its the only countries with power, Stevie......so that excludes Argentina, LOL

Apr 23rd, 2013 - 10:52 am - Link - Report abuse 0Or perhaps you want me to believe that USA uses them with more caution than anybody else?
I don't care if you call me a hypocrite. My country's more powerful than yours, therefor I get to bully your weak, pathetic ass around, lol
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 11:10 am - Link - Report abuse 0As the most powerful nation on earth we have the right and ability to dictate terms to whomever we choose.

But, you don't live in SA any more do you?
No, that is why USA still buys oil from Venezuela and is upset over the prices.
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 11:33 am - Link - Report abuse 0That is why USA refers to the islands as Falklands/Malvinas.
That is why USA, together with Europe, are where they are today.
The arise of China made you lot run out of cheap resources, and you are having problems outbidding them.
Attack any SA nation under the disguise of your choice. We'd know what you want. And you're not getting it. Get it?
Yes, I get that you're retarded and you understand nothing and there's no point talking to you.
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 11:43 am - Link - Report abuse 0I also get that you have no life and stare at mercopress.com day and night, have no friends, and are some kind of antisocial freak with some kind of hideous deformity.

as for countries with power i thank my lucky stars iran, north korea and Argentine(Hahahaha) will never have true global power, not now, not ever, the only power they possess is internal at best!

@3 Poor little Stevie. Wants nuclear weapons. Except that his country signed a treaty banning nuclear weapons in its area. Now, who do we know that ignores treaties that it's signed?
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 04:01 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@5 Yep. The only country to have ever used a nuclear weapon. Twice. To end a war. You might want to bear that in mind. The UK, all by itself, can end any latin-american war.
@8 Oh hohohohoho. A hypocrite calling other people hypocrites. What nationality are you today, Stevie? Ever read a document stating that all members are committed to aiding the development of others? And how does refusing to allow certain vessels to dock aid their development? And how do feel about being part of an imperialist colonialist state, or at the least a supporter of one?
@11 Except that the USA has only used a nuclear weapon twice in nearly 70 years. And how often has cowardly argieland planned a war against a neighbour?
@14 Ever heard of a neutron bomb? Lethal radiation dosage out to 1400 metres. Never say never. And if the USA is as nasty as you think, why shouldn't they?
@17 See if you can figure this. Every living thing in South America could be destroyed in less than a week. Get it?
@19 Thanks, argie. You don't have a lady. Here's your choice. You can have a dictatorial slut. Or a slutty dictator. You don't think she got those bandy legs from riding horses, do you? She got them from the number of freebie shags she's received. A true 3-hole receiver is your CFK.

Apr 23rd, 2013 - 04:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I surely don't want nuclear weapons. I'm not homicidal like you.
I'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy in the demands of the nuclear nations.
Especially considering the fact that the USA are the only ones to have used named weapon to murder.
lol poor little stevie can't get nuclear weapons. His country has no position, no power, its a nobody

Apr 23rd, 2013 - 05:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0If you are referring to the two bombs dropped on Japan that was not murder, the USA were at war with Japan that started when Japan attacked Pearl Harbour without declaring war.
Does that sound a bell in that febrile brain of yours? Of course, that is EXACTLY what the argies did, so the three Islanders who died (by 'friendly fire', yes I know) were MURDERED by the argies who invaded in a similar manner to Japan.
With Japan it was an error that due to having to translate their language to English in Washington, having first decoded the signal their Ambassador was late arriving at the State department.
What excuse did the Junta have for not warning the Falklands other than were a bunch of spineless fcuking cowards just like your present bunch headed by TMBOA?
Pleased to set you right, no need to thank me.
Murder.
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 05:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Full stop.

You have a valid point..

Apr 23rd, 2013 - 08:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The definition of war could be state sponsored murder.
Nuclear weapons are terrible things and cause huge casualties however the fire bomb raids on Tokyo caused more deaths than Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Japan was rather complicit in bombing cities in China, Korea Malaya, Singapore and Burma - even Australia. If they had nuclear weapons they would have used them as would Germany.
After the battles to capture Iwo Jima and Okinawa with American casualties of 26,000 and 62, 000 respectively, it was estimated that allied casualties in an invasion of Japan could reach 1,000,000. The civilian population in Okinawa committed acts of mass suicide rather than surrender.
The Japanese Army would have fought to the death, all civilians were being armed to form huge defensive lines on beaches and 8,000 Kamikaze aircraft had been built and training given to fly these suicide missions.
Would the American public put up with these losses or would a terrible but decisive weapon save more lives in the long run.
It's easy for armchair pundits like you to take a moral ground
as you have never been in a position to take lives to save lives.
The two bombs had the desired affect and Japan surrendered.
How many lived were saved is problematical but the war ended about 18 months earlier than it would have otherwise.
You can try to find all arguments you want in order to justify murder.
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 08:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Still murder.
to be fair,
Apr 23rd, 2013 - 08:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0then Argentina shares the same murder charge for the deaths of over 700 men in the falklands war.
true is it not..
Sure, CFK is putting all those responsible in jail.

It is YOU who want us to believe you have an encyclopaedic knowledge of all things Latino when the reality is that you probably spend all day on the net reading your declared publications from the comfort of a N. European country, sponging off their support services.
I am retired and I cannot spend the time you must do if the response time to my posts by you are anything to go by.

ChrisR is more Uruguayo than Stevie. Fact (full stop. lol)
Apr 24th, 2013 - 12:45 am - Link - Report abuse 0Stevie has no Uruguayo friends, he's an antisocial freak who disagrees with and hates all Uruguayos. He has stated so himself. He's the only uruguayo that loves Argentina.
lol, nevermind, i retract my statement
Apr 24th, 2013 - 01:27 am - Link - Report abuse 0ChrisR and Stevie are PERFECT for eachother. They are both social rejects with hideous deformities. ChrisR sits in his house in Uruguay all day on the computer, far far away from the UK where he was unable to make friends/family due to his lack of social abilities and his hideous deformities. Stevie does the same, but its his home country.

Apr 24th, 2013 - 08:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0You can try to find all arguments you want in order to justify murder.
Still murder.
OK then - everyone killed in a war directly or indirectly has been murdered. That should satisfy you.
You should run for the Secy. of the United Nations.
With your brilliant insight you will be elected unchallenged.
good point,

Apr 24th, 2013 - 07:04 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Every civilian dead by bombs? Indeed.
Murdered.
Some experts say,
Apr 24th, 2013 - 07:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Without war, the worlds population would just get out of control,
And war keeps the population down.
Now I don’t know if that is true or just rubbish,
But perhaps exploring space and settling on new planets will help elevate the worlds growing population,
Mind you ive no idea what this might have to do with murder,
But just saying like.
mmmmmmmm
.
I know for a fact that calling a war for a necessity is utter rubbish.
Apr 24th, 2013 - 08:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0At some point birth control will have to be on the agenda, but in theory it is possible to half the entire population without killing a single soul and still everybody would have a child. This within a lapse of two generations.
In theory.
I admit birth control is a nasty thing, but wars as necessities is far worse...
well china has some kind of birth control, i think,
Apr 25th, 2013 - 12:01 am - Link - Report abuse 0and it does not seem to work.

Apr 25th, 2013 - 09:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0Civilians manufacture the weapons used by the armed forces to kill, so they are then complicit in murder. The law would say they are equally guilty .
Everybody [then]
Apr 25th, 2013 - 06:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Who pays taxes==what goes on military hardware?
So it seems then, in the smartest form,
That we have approx 6.5 billion murderers,,,,
Less 40 million argentines that have nothing to do with it,
It aint there fault and thus exempt.
Interesting.
Lol.
China actually has birth wardens. The try to control and keep couples at 1 kid per couple. They even have incentives not to have kids.
Apr 26th, 2013 - 02:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The IAEA should investigate Israel, which has several nuclear weapons, unlike Iran, and is a threat to world peace, unlike Iran. Also, Israel is not a part of the NPT.
Apr 26th, 2013 - 02:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0perhaps you should go tell them that brazilian
Apr 26th, 2013 - 03:16 pm - Link - Report abuse 0# 55 - Itamaraty has already done that, making it clear that all nations should sign the NPT, and giving support to Iran, a nation which does not have nuclear weapons to proliferate and which has signed the NPT. Unlike the nuclear armed nations, which present the largest risk to humanity, Brazil is one of the few nations in the world where it has in it's contitution that it cannot build nuclear weapons.

Apr 26th, 2013 - 06:21 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Hamas do not want peace in the Gaza or anywhere else. ALL they want is every Israeli dead.
If Israel were to lay down their weapons they would ALL be killed by the cowardly Arabs and the Mullahs of Iran, etc.
If Hamas lay down their weapons there would be peace throughout the region.
That is the real problem.

Apr 26th, 2013 - 06:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Are you really so simple that you think that Iran is not trying to obtain nuclear weapons ? Their president, backed by their Mullahs has called for the total annihilation of the state of Israel.
If they gain nuclear weapons then their use is a very strong possibility.
Remember, martyrdom seems to be a precept of the more extreme forms of Islam. Would you be happy to see a bunch of nutters in charge of a nuclear arsenal.
Despite what you think, the more responsible nuclear powers have come to a modus vivandi with each others nuclear arsenals which has kept them from using them in times of conflict.
I have been in Israel and seen what living in an armed camp feels like. All their neighbours want them destroyed - not to live in peace with them.
Their ownership of a nuclear arsenal - never confirmed or denied -is the one thing that guarantees their survival as a country..
I do not agree with their treatment of the Palestinians and the land grabs they have made on their territory but the Israelis think they are playing a survival game - and they may be right.
Iran, a nation which does not have nuclear weapons
Apr 26th, 2013 - 06:56 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Perhaps when they show the world what they have,
Will you have a different opinion of them
Also you say.
Brazil is one of the few nations in the world where it has in its [constitution] that it cannot build nuclear weapons.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
So why will it obtain nuclear subs,
Are these not weapons in themselves,
Brazil will in time obtain what the few have,
Because some must have what others do not,
And south American countries do not,
,,,,,,,,,,,,
their are some that cant be trusted, IRAN is one such country.

Apr 26th, 2013 - 09:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Brazil is one of the few nations in the world where it has in its [constitution] that it cannot build nuclear weapons.
Have to be careful here though! What does it say about POSSESSION of nuclear weapons (built by some other country)?
We must also remember that ARs constitution says that the Falklands are theirs!
It seems LatAm countries treat their constitutions as if they are 'aspirational' and subject to amendment on a whim.
No Chris, SA should ask the Brits how to treat their own constitutions.
Apr 27th, 2013 - 12:03 am - Link - Report abuse 0Aren't you the clever one...
