Economy minister Hernan Lorenzino became the laughing stock of Argentina when a video was revealed showing him suspending an interview with Greek television arguing that Argentine inflation ‘is too complex’ and telling his aides, ‘I want to leave’. The last thing any politician should do is shy away from the press. The press are like sharks and when they smell blood they start circling.
Argentine politicians should take lessons from other countries on how to 'handle' the media.
However, considering the Argentine President refuses to face the media, it's hardly surprising that the rest of her 'government' are useless when faced with them too.
This is going to haunt the current Argentine regime. It has made them look foolish, unprepared (he was the economic minister FFS, what topic did he think they would be questioning him about?), frightened, inept and amateurish.
It's not a good way to advertise your country or your government.

@28 Clegg was, and is, a necessary evil. It was very important to get the Labour Party OUT of government. The Labour Party have a number of similarities to the Peronists. Fortunately, as polls and recent election results show, Clegg's ineptitude is turning the LibDems into a party that will be unelectable. However, comparing Clegg with CFK shows that there may be a place for him. In argieland. He speaks Spanish, so there would be no language barrier. He has a nice enough looking Spanish wife, so that will put CFK on the back foot. And his “policies” might even be good for argieland. They can't be any worse than the current ones!

For being honest, i don't know wether this news was published by chanels and radios which aren't aligned with the government, however, it was published in página12 today, which is a pro kirchnerist newspaper and leftist. In relation to lorenzino's answer, for some journalists sometimes their problem is that not all the time they receive the answer that they want to hear. Minister lorenzino was clear when he said what is the inflation level in argentina according to the indec, and it's obvious that neather him nor any other minister is going to valid what private statistics publish every month. That greek journalist or any other can agree or not on lorenzino's answer, however nobody can say that he refused to answer the question about inflation level. Anyway he should have explained deeply the true causes of the problem, many minister often do it, i heard them in different oportunities, thats' why i was sorprised when i read that he said they never talk about inflation not even with the argentine media, that answer was really pathetic.
I never watch utube, but I did when I heard of this. Lerenzino looked like he realized he just wet his pants, or passed a wee bit more than gas.......lol

I live in Norfolk UK, there are vast ( it's all relevant ) swathes of land here that are factory farmed. There are three or four crops produced from land, where previously there would have been one. The busiest agricultural machines working, are the sprayers. I know we need the food, but can not help wondering what we might be letting our grand and great grandchildren in for.

Also, many, many people voted for CFK in exchange for jobs, plans, or simply, convenience. I despise those types. The people that complain are not only middle class. And I don't think middle class people are blind sheep, quite the contrary. They are usually educated enough to see through the lies, and they don't stand to gain political or business favours. Mostly lower and higher class voted for CFK.
@53 fraud isn't as big in Argentina so as to completely invalidate the results of the elections. I remember back in 2011 all the middle classes supported CFK and were very happy with her policies. They didn't care that she was a dictator, as long as the economy was doing well so they could buy a new TV. There were also lots of middle class people believing the Kirchnerist propaganda. The middle classes think they are smart but they are just as stupid as the poor.
