Unless they are talking to Japan, when Shikoku is clearly Japanese, or they are talking to Vietnam, when the Paracel Islands are Vietnamese, or the Philipines when the Spratleys are clearly Philipino.
Generally, in Argentina, Tibet is always Chinese as the Tibetans can offer them nothing, and Taiwan is part of China for the same reason.
However, this article is interesting. When are China going to “do anything” to support Argentina...or is like the Brazilian or Uruguaian support, where they say it and then act the opposite?
Will China be offering military support?
Will China be putting in place trade sanctions?
Will China be joining fat Toni outside the Lan offices?
Or will they be doing fuck all, and the islands remain with their rightful owners the islanders ad infinitum?

It seems rather obvious that China isn't supporting Argentina because they are upset that Argentina's murderers and rapists were sent home two centuries ago, but rather because they themselves are terrified of the principle of self-determination, given that they occupy or covet vast swathes of territory against the wishes of the inhabitants.

On the latter occasion a binding UN resolution told them to leave.
It's tricky to see where the comparison lies.
lf Argentina ever accepts a military alliance with China, or allows them to site a base in Argentina, then it will be goodbye, Argentina.

Visited China recently for the first time since 1984. It hasn't changed much. Still a grim poluted place. A police state where people have no freedom to live where they like or as they like. They are building grim prison type tower blocks everywhere to bring the peasants into the towns so they can work in sweatshops for very low wages. The air stinks, the vistas are grim, police everywhere. Lovely place!

Argentina has an Embassy in Beijing, but has a Trade and Cultural Office in Taipei - http://www.argentina.org.tw/ - but China doesn't throw a wobbly over that.
Personally, I think Britain should only have a Trade and Cultural Office in Buenos Aires, and regard Argentina as just a rebel colony of the Spanish Empire.

China might refuse to exercise self determination, but this part of the UN charter cannot be airbrushed away whetehr China likes it or not.
It says something that even when Argentina and UK were having dialogue and the UK wanted rid of the Falklands, Argentina still did not get them, except when their pirates invaded, as the UK could not go against the UN charter it had signed up to.
Everyone supports dialogue on the issue, but as several posters have pointed out:
Argentina: We want the Falklands because you usurped them in 1833.
UK: Bollocks-we claimed them since 1690, and when we occupied Port Egmont in 1765 you weren't there(and neither were the Spanish). We exercised our previous claim in 1833.
Argentina :( Fingers stuck in ears) You threw off our civilian settlers in 1833.
(Dialogue on history with UK diplomats examining historical documents and Argentines producing cartoons and emotive outbursts as evidence for about 5 days).
UK: And in addition to that we are sticking to the UN charter which says the Islanders born on the Islands must have a say (according to international law)-so we have bought in some MLA's to discuss this with you.
Talks end. Argentina makes false claims for the next few 100 years.

If you go from Chile to Argentina you will find that the quality of the meat improves immeasurably. But the livestock is the same in both countries. The difference is that the Argentinians know how to raise, slaughter and butcher their meat. The Chileans, bless their cotton socks, do not.
Chilean beef is regarded as the worst in southern America. However, it is orders of magnitude better than any that can be bought in England. You see the beef that you bought had been butchered in England. And England is a country that can take high quality raw materials and convert then into crap. It reminds me of what used to be said about Soviet manufacturing; the value of the manufactured product was worth less than the value of the raw materials.

In the UK we have some massive grocery store groups competing with each other. The bottom end; Tesco and Asda (a Walmart company I think) are constantly price cutting each other and therefore they try and source food from all over the world. Anywhere where it is cheap. South America is really cheap for them but they have to be able to sell the food when they bring it over and there lies the problem. Putrid. Nobody will touch. British, Irish and Scottish, real quality, is relatively expensive. You have clearly never tried it. A typical good sized steak would cost the equivalent of an average Argentine's weekly living allowance.
Mercopress has shown a pictures of a grocery stores in Argentina. There is nothing on the shelf. Do you not have anything to eat over there? Are you ll starving? It is good that we have stopped taking your meat. If you are starving, even putrid food will keep you alive although personally I would rather starve.

Britain was know as the shopkeeper to the world. Cost, quality, the lot. Log on to the London Stock Exchange website. See the list of British companies. A lot will be household names in SA. Dany, we are no longer the top exporters of beef. That is Brasil, Paraguay and Uruguay, and we export a lot less than Paraguay. We are now producing beef only in feedlots, so the quality of our beef is declining as well as the numbers of animals.
We used to be the world's #1 provider of top quality beef, but that was in the days of Frigoríficos Anglo, Swift, etc. Now we have lost our best bet when the Brasilians left!!!!

The results were as follows :

Abstained: 47
Didn't turn up: 44
So Argentina got 40 votes out of a possible 192, or about 20%.
This is a bit different from “the whole world supports Argentina”, as we are so often told. Quite onbviously, most of the world couldn't care less about Argentina's claim, and of the remainder more support the right of self-determination than Argentina's denial of it.
Of those countries that did support Argentina, the breakdown is as I stated it in @78, i.e the majority are your fellow implanted populations of South America, with a sprinkling of nutters, dictatorships, and other would-be or actual usurpers of somebody else's territory. And as Chicureo points out in @79, you shouldn't be betting the farm on your fellow implanted populations, the more so since you are dumb and self-obsessed enough to keep pissing them off while simultaneously demanding their support.

(free market here you know) and of course Chile. Typically, the most expensive, cut for cut is Chile, with the Waygu being the highest. Argentian grass fed red Angus used to be the best, but now I personally think its the lomo vetado from New South Wales. As far as the asado its self can be found at the Mercado del Puerto in Montevedo.
By the way, the best cuisine in South America is in Lima, the best seafood is in Chile, the best wine typically is from both Chile and Argentina, the most attentive waiters in Argentina, the best overall BBQ dining experience is Brazil and Paraguay has the best beef value for price/quality.
Where the Campora fool gets the idea that Chilean beef is poor, and has never had an authentic Aberdeen Angus Steak is as ignorant as they come...
And yes, anything with ground meat in Europe is off my list, but that's been AA general rule her in all of South America since colonization...

From first hand, family members that have a company that supplied the 300 exporter factories in Argentina and the family company went also burst together with many of those factories.
Meat factories like Frigorifico Monte Grande SA, Yaguane SA, PENTA SA, La Morocha SA, FabricarneSA, Meatex sa, Finescor Sa, CEPA SA, Pontevedra SA, Ramallo sa, etc some with approved Hilton quotas went burst or under bankruptcy protection.
From those dark days “An Alfonsin’s relative and fellow friends wanted to acquire some of those factories for free and one engineer partner of them that acquired a factory called Yaguane SA. handled to get a Hilton quota (Are just partial cuts of the cow) to export from fellow govt. but the idiot didn’t know how the industry works and forgot to find clients for the rest of the cow.
Until the imminent collapse of the business he called fellow “correligionarios” friends better knows as “corrupt radicals politicians” and they provided him an Ad Hoc solution called “Mercados comunales” for neighbourhoods so he could avoid bankruptcy.
The factory went burst anyway and then come Julio Mera Figueroa and Samid (to the rescue).

Foreign cuisine for you is limited to cakes at Havanna's ( not really Cuban, you know - and Cubans could not afford it), and McDonald's, a real treat for you!
With the exception of Wimpy's in London, I've had no problem getting great food in the UK.
Pub food is often very good and satisfying. My favourite is the Shepherd &Dog pub in the South Downs of Sussex.
Not only does London have great pubs and traditional food, but some fantastic BBQ'd lamb Kebab stands.
Mayfair is home to wonderful restaurants - again, great lamb and traditional food, as well as high-end foreign restaurants - the Bombay Palace being one of my favourites.
Too bad you will never experience any of this - you'll be stuck with your local spicy sausages of mystery meat for some time now!

Argentina has little to offer us. Their products are raw commodities - China will take those, leaving nothing and no related industry or expertise. They produce no “Value-Added” products!!

Mendoza is an international heavy player in the wine industry and also have Oil productioon, mining of Uranium, Iron, magnesium, Silver, Lead, Zinc, Talc, Bentonite, etc.
