She's be mad to! Though I do notice its not her thats saying it =) And by the way, what do those who oppose re-election think of any other potential changes to the constitution, since this began with a discussion of judicial reform; do you just want to keep Critina out, or is every word of that ancient (from 1994!) document sacred to you...

The gas cuts are already starting and it is not even winter yet!
How long can Dow, Ford and GM put up with this mess?
Not long, not long at all.
My bet is she'll either be dead or in jail way before her term expires.

Christina is quite happy to leave and spend her hard embezzled swiss bank savings. Her cronies want to keep her in power because they haven't stolen enough yet to flee abroad and escape any retribution.

Yes the constitution from 1994 is so ancient, that it talks about the mythical Islas Malvinas.

On more than one occasion the Argentine constitution hasn't been worth the paper it is written on. Thankfully changes to this constitution only affect Argentineans. So unless there are enough of them willing to stop these “reforms” then they deserve to live with the consequences.

If that means Argentina can reelect CFK then so be it. It will probably only hasten the absolute decline against countries such as mine.

The border between Paraguay and Argentina collapsed because people ae trying to exchange $ and buy toilet paper and other essentials that they can't get in Argentina any longer.

Is this guy (Anibal the cannibal) from Barcelona!

He bears a passing resemblance to Basil Fawlty's mate Manuel.

No can't be, Manuel was a nice little guy who had a political nous far in excess of Anibal the cannibal's

@6 I was chatting with a friend in Buenos Aires last evening. She had been over to Colonia to withdraw some dollars from her account there and she said how shocked she was at the long lines at the ATMs. She had read about it but still was not prepared for the enormity of the whole business that has grown out of desperation for dollars. The ferries are huge and tickets are sold for a return of just a couple of hours. They are even offering remises when you return on the boat to Buenos Aires because people are scared of being robbed for their dollars. As she said “it’s all “unofficial”, but it seems the biggest unofficial movement of people and money ever.”

little man + big moustache = little man who thinks hes a big man

Shes trying to appear humble 'I believe in democracy and the reform is out of my hands' whilst her dependents do the campaigning for her.

CFK will stay until the very last moment urged by her ego and greed and her fellow thieving greedy cronies. Unfortunately she will not be going to jail and she will not be lynched. She will be 'exiled' to Santa Cruz or at worst she'll have to flee to fellow Bolivarian messhole.

I agree. I don't think CFK will ever face trial for all her corrupt and larcenous acts. Her health is deteriorating fast and she will play the 'unfit to stand trial' card. She really is a very sick woman which is the real reason she does not want to run for another term. I am guessing they are busy trying to hide the trail to the money and taking control of the judiciary so CFK's goons and, in particular her son, cannot be prosecuted.

I don't think CFK will run to Venezuela or Cuba because the heat aggravates her health problems. She may well live out her days 'exiled' to Santa Cruz.

The Constitution is a laugh a minute read, these are the first two clauses:
“Section 1.- The Argentine Nation adopts the federal republican representative form of government, as this Constitution establishes.
Section 2.- The Federal Government supports the Roman Catholic Apostolic religion.

So no statement about 'democracy' but they maintain ”the delusion of the ages.”

I suspect there will be an even bigger delusion shortly: one where the ordinary citizen thinkd their pesos is woth a roll of toilet paer from the 50M being imported by their mates up north.

Must be R&R for them, Rest & Re-programming.
They really were aggressive and prolific for a good long period recently.

Looks like they were very intent on supporting Maduro and trying to DEFLECT the soaring inflation and economic woes of Argentina.

BK is just throwing out his cheap diversionary tactics, “CFK is beautiful and everything she does is inspired and wonderful!”

I wonder if he posts this crap for our benefit or hers???!

#13 ” I don't think CFK will run to Venezuela or Cuba because the heat aggravates her health problems2

Well, Britain and especially Scotland is colder than them =) But I don't think she'll have to “run” anywhere; even if she doesn't get the 3rd term she so rivhly deserves (and she certainly looks healthy enough to stay on for at least one more term!) she'll either stay as the spiritual mentor of the next government, like the retired Lula and Fidel, or else enter determined opposition in the unlikely event of a right wing government

#16 Actually Think disagrees with me about re-election; but comrades don't have to agree about every tactic to respect each other =) I don't know what Stevie thinks about it...

@17 LOL! It is funny how the trolls on here use the exact same tactics as the government of CFK. They attack the messenger and blame some huge conspiracy for their ills. I never thought any of the CFK supporters here were working for her government as none of them live in Argentina but it does make one wonder.

@20 You can think what you want but your assertions are based on pure fantasy whereas mine as based on actual experience and factual information. CFK is very sick woman.

I wonder at what point in the demise of CFK's government her main supporters will disappear from this forum. So many have come and gone over time when they have been proved completely wrong.

But we agree on many other topics.......
About the looks of our current president, Sra. Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner........, I only can say that:
    1) In Argentina, any woman over 40 is a “Vieja”......
    2) At +60, this “Vieja” is quite enchanting.....
    3) If one considers her intellect too...., she is just ravishing ;-)

Most important, take pictures before the dregs are poured into sewage disposal works. Send copies to BK. Offer similar disposal of another useless slug. In any event, remove all civil protection. Not unreasonable for BK to be executed by any public-spirited citizen. Not a problem. Birds, rats, foxes will dispose of “remains”. Very “natural”.

    Sorry lads
But ive got to agree with CFK this time,

CFK== it’s your constitution is it not, and you must keep it safe next to your chest,
It’s yours and no one else’s,

If you want to change your private constitution to put you in power for another 5-10-20 odd years that’s your choice,

You are the best thing to happen in Argentina,
And the best friend Britain has at the UN,
The best comedian the world has seen since comedy ally,
Even your human rights record is admired by North Korea,
You even make your lies look like Christmas presents for the masses,

    Your bloggers adore you,
All over the world they give praise to you desperately trying to get back to the mother land to fight for the anointed one,

Yep CFK you keep going like this and you will the first South American leader
To destroy what was a wealthy prosperous country,
And all in the name of your very own vanity,

Keep up the good work, the lies crawling crying sobbing, and greedy incompetence
Is getting Argentina noticed from the dustbin to the gutter.

    Live long and prosper==
And keep the clap at bay,
    Clap clap clap..

    .

#23 Enchanting and ravishing indeed, shame you want to fire her =) Though perhaps her intellect and fighting spirit can still make a great contribution as a post-president, so I shouldn't despair of the fact she seems to currently agree more with you than me on this tactical issue! If I recall right I think we may also agree on the fine qualities of Mercedes; another potential Presidenta do you think?

@41 Argentina does not need a new National Constitution, it needs respect to the current one in its writting and in its spirit.

Laws such as the Judicial Reform, the Sharing Act and plenty of regulations of the AFIP and the BCRA are unconstitucional. And should not be applied.

The Country does not need any change in its constitution. CFK and some politicians (basically the Peronists) need a change for their personal advantage.
