Nicaragua approves transoceanic canal to rival with Panama and to be built by Hong Kong company

The Nicaraguan Congress has approved a proposal to have a canal built linking the Pacific and the Atlantic Oceans. A Hong Kong-based company has been granted a 50-year concession to build the waterway, which will rival the Panama Canal. Read full article

    Would Nicaraguan Commies dare to seize a Chinese-owned canal?

    One can only infer that it goes through Lake Nicaragua.

    $40,000,000,000? Well, let's treble that for starters.

    I can almost hear the roar of the lake draining into the Pacific when a lock gate breaks in some unpleasant disaster.
