Pope Francis has visited Lampedusa in the extreme south of Italy to pay tribute to the thousands of migrants who have lost their lives trying to reach the European Union and criticized what he called the “globalization of indifference.” Read full article

    Aaaah, yes. And when will Pope Francis be throwing opening the “gates” of the Holy See, inviting all migrants to join him there, provide them with housing and welfare benefits? Hang on, a thought. With his background and “connections”, surely he can arrange for all migrants to be “resettled” in the forward-looking, progressive, socially-aware argieland?
