Wow, the poor woman is restricted to taking first class flights with the plebeians. Or are there countries that cancel scheduled aircraft flights when they know she is coming. As for Morales if he hand't made public statements that led people to think he might try and illegally take a fugitive through a countries airspace then perhaps he wouldn't have had his flight plans blocked. She can't bear to travel with the mere first class passengers because they might lynch her, so has to have her own plane even though the country cant pay its bills and he can't keep his mouth shut and then will not accept the consequences of what he says. Were these really the winning candidates of a presidential election in modern civilised democracies.

Why is Europe above the law RICO? Why can they grant asylum to people other countries in Africa and Middle East want?

@1 “Wow, the poor woman is restricted to taking first class flights with the plebeians.”

Who says she's flying business. I can see her desperately walking through the coach cabin (where she belongs) with her middle seat boarding pass telling people in the aisles and windows, “excuse me, I'm traveling with this [points to sad person in middle seat-who unlike her doesn't have the chutzpah to try it] person, will you please switch with me?” .... “excuse me, I'm traveling with this person...”

Does she realize that the only people that believe her can barely read and will never take a plane? “New forms of colonialism”?

She will be crushed in the elections by her own ex-followers. The only ones left are the ones she feeds with our tax money. We are increasing the security on our home. I imagine that home invasions will increase when welfare checks start to arrive late.

@2 How unfeeling of you. Haven't you got a number of asylums you could put her in? Or have the lunatics objected?

By the way, your English is failing.

So let's take a look at the real situation. Argieland has a cheating, lying, thieving “president” that won't pay the country's debts although there is money for “prestige” projects. Bolivia has a “president” willing to aid a fugitive criminal. Grounds for asylum include race, nationality, religion, political opinions and membership and/or participation in any particular social group or social activities. And which one these categories does Snowden come in? Afraid I can't find the category “politically useful”. And now it appears that Snowden wants to stay in Russia! The ingratitude. Not wanting to go to Venezuela! But he has to agree to stop blabbing. Unlikely to be difficult. Who'd ever trust him with a “secret” again? He'll be exceptionally lucky if anyone even tells him their middle name!

“Why is Europe above the law?” It isn't. It just happens to know what the law is. Unlike latam, that makes it up as they go along!

That is beautiful! Borrow money, don't pay it back, and claim you are the victim, of subtle new forms of “colonialism”.

What a fork-tongued bunch of thieves! Who would go near these people!!? Who would loan a dime to these people and actually believe they are going to get it back when this is the way they talk about their obligations?

Can one of you pro-Argentina people give me a rational explanation as to why a private “vulture” entity trying to get money is actually a new form of subtle “colonialism”.

Tell me also, is CFK spewing total “nonsense” here, or is she actually making an intellectually advanced observation?

Simple, those same vulture funds don't expend a calorie going after all the American and European banks that mulcted them out of trillions through lies, book-cooking, and canard math.

    @7 Truth

Trillions of dollars? That is a huge amount.

Did these “vulture funds” also buy up loans based in American and European banks? I didn't know that.

Did these “vulture funds” really experience losses of “trillions” from the loans they bought up from the American and European banks?

@7 Actually, it's more the case that those “cheap” American lawyers you hired, you cheapskates, were too dumb to include a collective action clause. No-one is going to leave you alone. Will it reach the point where various countries declare war on argieland in order to recover the assets of its citizens. I do hope so. Spain, Italy, Germany, Japan and the U.S. Seems like a reasonable coalition. Except for the panties of Spain. I do want to see argieland forced to pay the US$124,300 billion it owes. Watch as EVERYTHING is taken. Industrial equipment, agricultural equipment, educational equipment, medical equipment, military equipment, transportation equipment. Then it's into homes to take electric and electronic equipment, furnishings etc. Maybe some “families” would like to sell their children!

“If I am aboard, I don't know if they won't seize me as well,” she said. “There are new forms of colonialism, more subtle than those practiced centuries ago.”

You can relax CFK, you would be returned to Argentina ASAP as any European country wouldn't want to hear your whining for more than 5 minutes.

As for the 19th century form of colonialism you are trying to impose on the Falklands, it's not very subtle, though you think it is.

”After joking that probably they would keep the plane and let her go “To the disappointment of the opposition in my country”,

Errr no. They would actually keep the plane AND BEG you to go, as you are the best asset the opposition in Argentina has.

And please, please, please, stay in power.

This will induce the Falkland Islands to become an independent nation within the next 50 years.

Please note that I am not referring to that regrettably small portion of the population of south-east South America that can properly called Argentines. Look the bottom line is, Argentina will never pay another cent from 2001, and any future government will not seek to befriend the USA, Europe/UK, China, etc.

So much has been said back and forth that it is way beyond reconciliation. Argentines in general now fully dislike Europeans and Americans, as I have been saying here all along and none of you believed, but recently you have seen evidence to prove me right.

And what Elaine claims is of no use, she does not know the argentine population because her circle of Argentines (of course, taking her to word that she travels so much), must my nature be inclined to be pro-foreign and self-hating. Not a very representative slice of the population.

Europe and the USA burned the bridge, and Argentina simply has no interest in rebuilding it.

But now he is openly supporting kirchner.....kickbacks and payoffs? And now they aare talking constitutional change. When I was there in February I felt the general consensus was the people were really against the change. If they democratize everything as they say, why not pull the constitutional change to the polls for a public election? They want (supposedly) everything else up for vote why not that? The truth about ck´s motivation shows a report of 2009, short before her “enthronement”.
    Her genetic motivations are:
Greed for money, greed for power, ostentation, arrogance. The “poor” do not care a damn, not even her own father and family.

This report - in spanish - shows the true motivation for her doing:

Yes, you have successfully described a Malvanista.

Being a keen sh1tspinner I put it like this.

The Malvanistas know they are about to drive into a wet bog with a 4WD.

Because they are arrogant, they do not engage 4WD and insist bumperkacks planks etc are for cissies.

As everybody else (but they) predict, they get stuck.

They rev up the engines in 4th gear and at some point may actually try selecting low range in 4WD (once they are actually stuck), but too late to get them out of the hole they have made and sunk into.

They then complain it was unfair that someone parked a wet piece of ground in the countryside, but it amounts to the same thing ,no proper research when partially quoting from treaties and history.

They applied the same attention to detail when they invaded the Falklands, and that's why they got their asses whipped after being in a theoretically impregnable position.

    A REMORA DIFFICULT TO ELIMINATE.
The conflict with the vultures, is one the biggest remoras that we still have since the times of neoliberalism.
Beyond the obvious and expectable reaction by some people, not only in this forum, but in mainland too, who would love to see the presidential plane being restrained because of the denounce of some vulture, it's necesary to say those idiots, and all the rest of the world that the hard conflict with the vultures, is not just an argentine problem, it's a global question, because a decision against argentina by u. s. a's court will have serious consequences in all the rest of the world, due to there won't be any other debt re estructuring, which is something that some european countries need.
On the other hand, i understand that maybe this is not the right place to talk about such a serious issue like our conflict with the vultures, because although i have always thought that mercopress is a serious website, if it's compared to clarin, la nación and perfil, which are shamefully corporate, however many of mercopress's forists don't have enough intellectual honesty in order to discuss about something so complicated like politic, anyway, despite the intellectual decadence of many of the people who often publish their comments here, i have always wanted to tell what is usually omitted in the press about argentina's situation.
I have never been interested in persuading absolutly anybody in this forum, due to this is evident that the ideologies of most people from this forum are very different to mine, but i love talking about politic, beside not all people here are reactionary.
Anyway, not only in mercopress there are reactionary people who often make despisable comments, based on the distortions of the press, or on too partial analysis, in the mainalnd there are many other mediocre people who would love to see the presidential airplane being restrained, just because it would prejudice c. f. k's government.

    Couple of problems here:
    1) how are they going to pay for them when they have no money or anything that the Chin need apart from The Dark Country itself?

    2) the Chin CANNOT manufacture jet engines themselves and are buying them all from Russia who are getting REALLY pissed off about how the Chin copy all their military technology (except engines) without paying for it. International thinking is that Russia may well starve them of engines and the Chin are not about to provide TMBOA with any. Very true, but it doesn't help surely when you concentrate huge defences in a few locations rather than have more patrols, OP's etc,

A guy who hit Pebble Island was amazed(and delighted) that there were no regular standing patrols around the island, most of the defences being around the settlement, so the insertion and extraction was unchallenged.

I suppose this in itself demonstrates their lack of backbone and if they had spent more time thinking seriously about their defences rather than bullying the islanders we would have been in trouble.

    Which is still the case.
