    @2 Twink, time to fill your boots, you will not get these prices again, you wait until they announce a rig for all the companies that are exploring in FI.Oh, by the way , how are the law suits getting on. ( your beloved leader was going to sue them ) cannot remember how long ago was it. Can you remember?

    @2 Think

    You mean to tell me shares in oil exploration companies go DOWN as well as UP! OMG! BTW: Rockhopper has just been landed a rather large tax demand from FIG - ouch.

    Is there oil and gas in FI water - probably.
    Is it commercially viable - maybe.

    Nevertheless, certain large multinational, experienced exploration companies seem to think it’s worth investing a big amounts of money to find out. Either way, its money coming into the community and FIG for the next few years.

    What if some of the estimates are as big or bigger then calculated? Don't have nightmares now Think, early days: but just imagine the pain on your shore; the humiliation of 82 was bad enough, but a little Kuwait sat smugly off the coast would likely take you over the edge.

    I bet within 6 months or sooner Premier oil, Rockhopper, Noble, Borders and Southern, Falkland oil and Gas, Desire Petroleum and possibly Argos Resources will secure a rig and then watch the share price. You have been warned.
    Rockhopper reckon that one of there prospects Zeberdee could hold as much as 1billion barrels of oil. 8stacked reserviours

    The Malvinas Oil Bubble is getting bigger.... and its walls are getting thinner....
    Real Turnips should take a third mortgage on their houses and give them monies to the Moody's, the Jungels's & the MacAulay's out there.....

    @7 Think

    Why is FI oil exploration any more high risk than other world-wide off shore prospects? That's the nature of this particular game - high risk, high reward.

    Oh, but have you forget already? Even you bananas have to come crawling to the “zee inglish” City of London, hustling us turnips for hard dollars to kick start your oil and gas industry. Boy, now is that ONE high risk gamble or what!

    Think- simple reason the significant dip in RKH Shares is they have been hit with a lot bigger than expected Tax bill by FI Govt on the money they gained as a result of the Premiere BuyIn - is/was it right amount the lawyers will decide I guess! Personally FIG does not need it anyway!

    If you bought in dec 09 RKH shares were £ 0.61, in apr 12 they were £ 3.55 so what are you trying to say? 1000 shares @ £ 0.61 = £ 610.00, 1000 shares ( sold ) @£ 3.55 = £ 3550.00. I make that a profit of £ 2940.00, I can give you many more examples if you want, provided you do not tell the taxman,nudge, nudge,wink,wink, but then Argentinians do not know what a taxman is. All of the above is not subject to rampant inflation like in your country.

    Think, as confirmed by FIG Treasury - both sides are in discussion and it looks as if the difference is centered around the premium shares - all above me but I have no doubt the financial gurus on both sides will reach a solution.
    For you and Marcos - even a nonexpert like me can figure out that you sell some shares at a high price - to get your original stake back - if they stay high for a while then sell a few more and that is in the pocket.
    But - once the exploration phase is over then those shares will sit about on the market going up abit or down abit as no interest - until the drilling starts again be it development and or more exploration - so you just wait ( if you were not sensible enough to cover your original stake when they went up with the early discoveries - well then tough luck!)
    The chance of a share bonanza will come when activity starts again, even I can figure that out !
    I know some here who sold right and have a tidy profit - others who bought on the rise and hung on to all, trying to be greedy - and now they have to sit and be patient and wait for a year or two - their mistake!

    it seems some are visiting Brasil next week to try to get some support for oil extractions
    and Arg has banned the four british oil companies for 20 years in Arg, for operating illegally in Arg disputed territory

    @21
    @21 You obviously cannot understand English very well. A FALKLAND lawmaker is going to Brazil to explain to business men and interested parties the true facts regarding the referendum for SELF DETERMINATION. Argentina has maintained that the 4 banned oil companies are already drilling in Argentina as they say that the FALKLANDS are on the same continental shelf. So why ban them?

    You say.....:
    “ I know some here who sold right and have a tidy profit - others who bought on the rise and hung on to all, trying to be greedy - and now they have to sit and be patient and wait for a year or two - their mistake!”

    I say...:
    Well.....................
    It is precisely them Turnips who, as you say...: “bought on the rise and hung on to all, trying to be greedy - and now have to sit and be patient and wait for five years..... or ten....” to lose it all.... I'm speaking to.

    Them and the 98.7% shareholders that “bought on the rise and had no chance to sell right - and now have to sit and be patient and wait for five years.... or ten....” to lose it all....

    Just like the Argentinians that bought into the attack on the FALKLANDS and had no chance to win, will now have to sit patiently and wait a century ( 100 years ) before they? That remains to be seen.
