In a bid for transparency and reform, the Vatican bank openly published a financial report for the first time on Tuesday. But the report came amid new accounts of vague withdrawals and deposits made to and by the organization. Read full article

    I think we might all have to afford the Vatican/Roman Catholic Church a personalised Truth and Reconciliation Commission if the archives were truly opened up.
    But perhaps the really juicy stories were never committed to paper - at least that's what I would claim if my embarrassing exposures were imminent.

    3)If the Catholic Church are upset about conspiracy theories and Dan Brown best sellers the best way to stop them would be to open up the archives and let proper objective historians uncover the truth

    The Bible, King James Version: Matthew Chapter 21 jumps to mind.

    Perhaps the RCC need to read that and apply it to their bank?

    Even an atheist can see the relevance in that.
