“While Cristina has to step down, he’s riding a motorbike” printed in the front page one of Brazil’s leading newspapers O Estado de Sao Paulo that caught Argentine Vice-president and now acting president a few hours before he was called back to Buenos Aires because of Cristina Fernandez medical condition.

The picture taken in the streets of Brasilia, shows Boudou with a helmet, jeans and a t-shirt (‘probably a little overweight’) riding an exclusive red colour Harley-Davidson motorbike model Electra Glide Ultra equipped with GPS and a sophisticated communication system.

He is next to a Brazilian top official from the Social Security ministry, Carlos Gabas another Harley Davidson fan who recently made headlines when it was revealed he has taken President Dilma Rousseff for ‘incognito’ rides across Brasilia.

The Monday edition of O Estado de Sao Paulo not only had the photo in front page but also in the foreign news section with a page and a half dedicated to the Argentine official, his hobbies and the current situation of the country.

Another influential daily Folha de Sao Paulo also warned about the growing concern in Argentina regarding the current political situation and with a similar picture printed: “Cristina with medical trouble and the Argentine Vice-president riding a motorbike”.

“The Argentine Vice-president had to travel urgently to Buenos Aires. On Saturday in Brasilia and apparently not aware of the medical condition of Cristina Fernandez, he was caught on motorbike next to Gabas who became famous for taking Dilma Rousseff in his Harley Davidson”, reported Folha.

Boudou had been sent to Brasilia to meet with his counterpart to organize a bilateral commission at legislative level to follow issues of the shared agenda. Brazil is Argentina’s main trade partner, particularly for manufactured goods.
