Brazil sold production rights to develop the giant offshore Libra oil area to a consortium led by Brazilian state-run oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA in an auction with a single bid on Monday. I hope that in the coming auctions Chevron and Exxon can participate. It may be that their interest is shale gas. Well, we'll always have the Chinese.
Let the Chin in and allow them to mine as well as drill, they are dedicated environmentalists.
