An agreement has been signed by INTERPOL and the Rio 2016 Organizing Committee for the world police body to provide additional support to the Brazilian authorities in ensuring the safety and security of the event. Read full article

    I imagine that FIFA/Brasil will also be covering their defence options using Interpol for the World Cup.
    But it would be highly embarrassing if the main culprits caught were the FIFA top brass themselves!
