For the third time in five years, Miss Venezuela has taken the Miss Universe crown. Gabriela Isler became the 62nd Miss Universe last weekend beating out 85 other hopefuls in the 2013 pageant held at Moscow’s Crocus City Hall in Russia. Read full article

I think that, after that heavy, sour crude oil they export, Miss Universe's must be Venezuela's primary export. If I believed in God, I would say that this story is proof that God is a Frank Zappa fan. This lovely woman resembles a young Sophia Loren.

It's true they all kind of look the same...How can it be that no Eastern European woman has ever won the contest???... Some Czech, Polish and Ukranian are stunning beauties on the borderline with perfection… Anyway the final contestants all have big mouths to smile a lot, that must be what the judges look for

She's gorgeous, of that there is no dispute. But I am a little disappointed in Venezuela's costume this year. We should expect nothing but the most extreme over-the-top bravado from LatAm costuming. That said, we should be thankful that Maduro's personal stylist wasn't her designer and globally she's still well ahead of Miss Lithuania and the rest of the Europeans save for Sweden because she's armed and kinda hot. But thank god they didn't dress her like a transformer like Miss USA or... well... like Botswana or Slovenia.

You guys really believe this Miss Universe crap is about the most beautiful girl? It's all about which nation has the biggest market for it. It's all about $. And as assumingly this contest is by far the hugest and mediatic in Venezuela (followed by Colombia) they win almost all the time. And it's totally irrelevant in Eastern Europe, by the way, even they got multiple time nicer girls.

Come on, this girl looks so regular... nothing special. She's got even a bit horse-teeth. xD
