UN climate talks in Poland have ended with delegates reaching a compromise on how to fight global warming. After 30 hours of deadlock, they approved a pathway to a new global climate treaty in Paris in 2015. The agreement was achieved after a series of last minute compromises often involving single words in draft texts. Read full article

This is all about wealth transfer and the major global financirers will be involved, taking off the cream. Bad storm? Pay up the West, it's your fault. It is a massive fraud.

How many more trillions do the P.R.C. need to accumulate before it is no longer considered 'developed'?

I have always considered these attempts to “Stop global warming”; “stop this climate madness” [tears optional] to be nothing other than an exercise in power between the various countries.

China commission’s one coal fired power station per week. India has similar effects (if we are to believe the effects) on what its industry is doing. The Poles have a huge coal export industry to safeguard.

AND IT ALL HUNG ON A SINGLE WORD!

    Would that word be BULLSHIT?

Perhaps like the Cunt Brown they have “Saved The World”, only he DIDN’T and THEY WON’T (probably unnecessary, but the green taxes help the politicians).

“You say 'Commitment', I say 'Contribution'” ... but don't call the whole thing off.

This article is pure propaganda. Corporatistas have taken over the UN just as they have done in the US, China, India and the other countries attempting to grow to infinity on a finite planet.

Intel just put out a warning in China and India that the smog, poisoned air is too acidic and is causing corrosion on their chips.
Great way to control population though
Not too many sick or old to worry about when you are killing them with the air.

No matter what Obama Administration agrees to it has to pass Congress and it won't. There is more appetite here to pull all UN funding and get out than there is for this kind of bs.

From your tag you seem to be European or American.

Given that all the northern countries have heavily industrialised their manufacturing (if they have any left) and their population loves to fly the world to exotic locations, why are you down on emerging countries who want what we have?

    Bit hypocritical don’t you think?

Do you really believe 10 billion people can work forty hours a week creating what appears normal in the industrialized countries? Or that the already industrialized countries will look and function anything like they do now in ten or twenty years?

    @ 8 Garrett Connelly

Who and where are these 10 BILLION that are all working 40 hours?

Okay, We're at 7 billion now, and the population was projected to peak at nine billion; predatory agribusiness land grabs and other disruptions in Africa indicate a delay there so that the world total will go to 10 billion.

Yes, many of those are too young to work and some are too old, still they need to be supported.

The point is that current seven billion population living under corporatism, even at the present depressed productivity is destroying the planet. If the Northern countries allow the rest of the world to advance; then the total pollution level created by 10 billion living at, say, US standard, will destroy Earth even faster than is already being done.

    @ 10 Garrett Connelly

Apparently the US military use more fuel than anybody in the world (so the claim goes) but what about China opening a new coal-fired power station every week?

Are China “Corporatistas” to use your term, I thought they were Communist bastards, albeit with an awakened fear of their masses unless they get a bit of the cake as well.

So, it’s a bit complex, isn’t it AND that’s assuming (and we know what that does don’t we) that the “Earth Scientists” know WTF they are arguing between themselves about with “Global Warming”, oh no, it’s “Climate Change” this year since the Globe is COOLING.

Sorry, as a hard-headed scientist and engineer I just can’t take how full of themselves these clowns are: AND WE ARE PAYING FOR IT, FFS!
