Panama Canal expansion discussions stall; Italian company demands an extra 1bn

The Panama Canal Authority, or ACP, said on Wednesday it would be “impossible” to meet the demands of Italian builder Impregilo, which has called on the government agency to make an additional payment of up to 1 billion dollars to cover cost overruns affecting a project to expand the international waterway.     one could say,
    this is what happens when one deals with armatures,

    then again,
    china will have their own canal, just a bit further on, and probably built and opened before this farce is settled.

    Just one small note: armatures are the rotating part of DC generators. I think the word you are looking for is amatuers!

    Just like Eric and Ernie, you had all the right “letters”, just in the wrong order! :o)
