Disclaimer & comment rulesThe price of food in the US is relatively the cheapest and most stable in the world.
Jan 16th, 2014 - 03:08 am - Link - Report abuse 0only for those who believes government inflation numbers (truth is, you pay the same and get less). You pay less unless you enjoy eating GMO crap. Organic (the way it suppose to be) prices are on the rise.
~the UK (socialist hell hole) is among the worst performers in Western Europe~
Told ya, ugly dumb f'ers with bad teeth big will never understand that UK is not only morally bankrupt, but also financially.
#1 WTF are you rambling on about other than regurgitated anglophobic crap?
Jan 16th, 2014 - 08:17 am - Link - Report abuse 0With regards to the dental health of the UK, WHO studies suggest that the UK has better dental health than either the US or Argentina.
#2 fucking dildo is the troll that believes he lives in the USA and supports the bolivarian communist way of life and denounces everything from the whiteman society.......does he (assumption) sound familiar?
Jan 16th, 2014 - 10:07 am - Link - Report abuse 0Dildo.....shop at Whole Foods chain if you think nature and organics food is experiencing high inflation and go the local farmers markets in season........you fucking dildo!

Jan 16th, 2014 - 02:23 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I've got to disagree with you there...
What I do like about the US is the food is cheap...what would cost a quid in the UK costs a dollar...
...and the farmers markets are cheap...in PA...although don't stand downwind of the Amish or Mennonite....I can't tell the difference, but one of them doesn't smell too good....
Europe is slightly cheaper than the UK but not that much....
This study must be based on food price relative to average incomes or something similar. I've never seen fruit or vegetables in western Europe of better quality/price that we have here here.
Jan 16th, 2014 - 02:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I love Angry Dutchy @1 I wish it would post more often, it is the best value grocery item on MP.
@1 Aw bless. Nothing to rely on but outdated stereotypes. I bet you're the same kind of person who believes all black people are drug dealers and that all women wearing a short skirt are asking to be raped. What an embarrassment you are to yourself but best of all you have the cheek to float the idea that you're somehow more moral than the next person. Yeah right.
Jan 16th, 2014 - 04:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0As for food in the UK, £1 will get you very far so long as you're sensible. It can either buy you 1 unhealthy microwave meal or the ingredients to make a weeks worth of delicious pasta. There's no denying that it can be expensive in the UK but let's not pretend that £1 doesn't go a long way because it does and I know - anybody who tries to claim different is either lying, lazy, not very knowledgeable in regards to food or all of the above.
Dildo....what grocery store do you shop in? I know what I pay for groceries is insignificantly more than last year......mild/.....eggs ....same. Bread......we have so many kinds bu the prices are hardly more than last year.
Jan 16th, 2014 - 05:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0You seem to think everything is GMO but you would believe everything that you read about the USA. If you we here you would then know that in the USA.....everything is choices. And as voice said.....in season go to any farmers market.....they set them up in most any city.
