The WBC Super-welterweight champion is known for his extravagant wagers

Reports from the US gambling haven of Las Vegas suggest that boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather has placed 10 million dollars on a Denver Broncos victory in the upcoming Super-bowl.

The bet came to light through Twitter account Vegas Gambling Steam, which also gave details on Mayweather's support for Peyton Manning and the Broncos to overcome the Seattle Seahawks.

”Floyd Mayweather L48hours bet 10.4Million on Broncos -2 (Action with 7 different shops + 4 offshore accts) 8Million in credit”, the account detailed in a tweet that quickly went viral, explaining that the boxer had to spread his money around several outlets as no single bookmakers would take such a large sum.

The WBC Super-welterweight champion is known for his extravagant wagers, and often poses alongside the money he plans to bet on sports including NFL, NBA and NCAA events.

In 2013 Mayweather placed 6 million dollars on the Miami Heat to overcome the Indiana Pacers in the NBA semi-finals. The Heat's victory left the pugilist with winnings of 11m dollars.

Good question.....they are rather strange at times. They strangely at time remove comments that were not profane nor insulting. They apply rules rather indiscriminately.

I would think that the news would be related only to the South Atlantic.

On occasion I have used the 'contact us' facility. They say they will reply, but never do.
I am now sending this to them, I will let you know if they ever respond!

Although I have a general interest in LatAm as a whole, I have experience of living in Chile, Colombia & Vnzla. I personally would like to see more news from Vnzla, as I have family and business interests there.
Equally now that Vnzla is now a full member of Mercosur surely MP should pay more attention and deliver?
