With the example of Venezuela next door, the left is even more on the nose in Colombia at the moment.
Colombians have a front row seat to the results of of leftist governments in Venezuela and Ecuador and then with FARC continuing to kill people, it is small wonder that parties that espouse these ideas don't do so well.
