The Federal Government continues to believe that consumption alone, will make the GDP grow. Now that car sales have taken a dive, our genius Finance Minister, Mantega, will probably be 'told' he must announce some new, temporary measures to get the automotive sector back on track.
Until they realize that the infrastructure is the basis for future, sustainable growth, the country will keep stumbling along, without any defined direction. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, the PT is filling its pockets, and to hell with the country.

Right on Tik Tok.....besides the dozens of thousands of direct jobs supplied by the actual car manufacturers (“Montadoras”, such as GM, Ford, Volkswagen etc), there are hundreds of thousands in the autopart industry. When and if a serious crisis hits the car manufacturers - due to the government cutting back on 'easy' credit - a hell of a lot of people will lose their jobs and join the queues for some “bolsa” or another....
