President Barack Obama and Pope Francis focused publicly on their mutual respect and shared concern for the poor on Thursday during their meeting in the Vatican, but the lengthy private discussion also highlighted the deep differences between the White House and the Catholic Church on abortion and birth control. Not even a mention about him...
Another proof of the insignificant relevance of the Dark Kingdom Of Satan in the western world...
I just wonder how the British crown and the corrupts politician have managed to turn Britain into a such ruined and irrelevant nation...
From world power to an isolate island in nowhere...
Really sad...
Obama got bored of the pontificating, and cut the meeting short.

Cameron is an Anglican, which is about as close to being an atheist as you can manage while still having a god-on-a-stick. Plus we had a visit from the last one, which was such a roaring success that it's hardly surprising that he's not over keen.

Mar 28th, 2014 - 10:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yes Dany, it is really sad to see you're jealousy coming through in every post. You belong to a country which is a basket case and a complete failure in all respects.
You acquired a huge land mass with plentiful natural resources and pissed it against the wall.
Your main contribution to world affairs is a constant whine about how everyone is conspiring against you. It's unfair, we are the victims.
Yes. of your own childish stupidity
Do the world a favour and sink without trace....no one would miss you.
The Pope is meaningless to the vast majority of us, I,m sure Cameron has more important things on his mind than meeting some bloke dressed in a frock.
Mar 28th, 2014 - 11:24 am - Link - Report abuse 0What happened to separation of church and state. Here they go again trying to inject their beliefs into politics and force it on others.

The White House press release says that Obama and the Pope spoke about social justice and the disparity in wealth distribution.
Mar 28th, 2014 - 11:43 am - Link - Report abuse 0The Vatican press release says that the Pope and Obama talked about the sanctity of life and the respect for religion.
Clearly, the agendas are worlds apart. Someone is lying.
I would not be surprised that in addition to the seeds, Obama gave a complete set of ´The Borgias´ DVDs to His Holiness... Who in the video appeared rueful, possibly thinking, Clowns to the left of me, clowns to the right, and here I am stuck in the middle with them. Meeting with Obama and Kerry would not be a Lenten penance I would voluntarily take on...
I cannot wait for his audience with her majesty, lets see how far he pushes the Falklands issue there and risking a look that will turn him to stone. If he is wise, his holyness will keep his trap shut or risk the conversation wandering on to that little paedophile problem he has.

Mar 28th, 2014 - 09:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0This has nothing to do with religion otherwise real power...
The Vatican and the Pope are the more influential single power in the world and although the single bigger holder of properties and assets around the world.
I remember that one US financial investor talking about the Vatican referred to it as the biggest corporation in the world with branches in every corner of the world.
The Vatican has assets in financial institution in US, own banks, London stock exchange, shares in most of the biggest corporation in the world, etc, etc.
So the funny guy dressed like he is going to a party in the Roman coliseum concentrates a lot of power in his hands.
And that is the reason why every head of the state, important and influential people around the world from Atheist to Jewish and Muslim want to have a interview with him.
And let’s don’t forget that the funny guy in pyjamas also has 1.2billion clients around the world.
Obama meets the real power...

@ Britworker & co
Just wonder why your nanny queen has to go to the Vatican to put her head down to the real power behind the scene?
@ChrisR
Her Majesty the Queen is above politics even if this argie twat isn't.
She is not and that is the reason why she has to go with her head down to meet the guy in pyjamas and she was not even included in VIP list otherwise is in the list with the charities and periferical countries.
Even her Majestic Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi from Samoa was recived before your queen..
Sad but another show of the irrelevance of the UK for the western world.

Mar 28th, 2014 - 10:39 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So Dany, what you are admitting is that the Vatican has plundered and raped the world for centuries to build up it's assets. Stealing on a larger scale than your despised British Empire.
If it wanted to follow the precepts of Christ, then it should liquidate it's assets and give the money to the deserving poor. After all, is that not what Christ preached?
The most influential power in the world ? Tell that to the Chinese, Russians or any modern society. Or, tell that to a Muslim country.
It's pointless trying to have a conversation with you sir/madam as your main attribute is trolling with not a word of sense coming from your posts.
At least you got pyjamas in but omitted kebabs...

May be the reason is because you are so indoctrinated with your British crap propaganda. Have you ever thought about it?
We are talking about the western world... Since when China is a western country?
Anyway your Queen from the Dark Kingdom Of Santan is desperate to have a private meeting with the Pope.
Why is she going there to put her head down and show submission to an Argie in pyjamas?
At least you got pyjamas in but omitted kebabs...
He does not eat kebabs like you because he is from the west, just only uses pyjamas...

Mar 29th, 2014 - 07:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I think your post has just confirmed what I said at #13.
You are so embittered that you cannot string a reasonable point together.
All you do is refer to youtube videos, kebabs, pyjamas, muslims as if that was the UK.
The Queen going to bow her head to the Pope. Her ancestors drop kicked the Pope into touch about 450 years ago and never looked back.
It was AFTER this that Britain became a pre eminent power free of Papal interference. The Pope may be of importance to Catholics but no one else gives a hoot. Maybe it is the Pope who is desperate to meet the Queen, after all, she has been in the job as head of her Church for 60 years, the Pope has only been in a year. Maybe he needs some advice.
Also, I don't eat kebabs when I am in the UK, but have enjoyed them in Turkey, Greece and Israel.
The Vatican and the Pope are the more influential single power in the world and although the single bigger holder of properties and assets
around the world.
You refer to around the world NOT just the West. Be more precise in your postings. I replied to what you said, NOT what you think you said.
The reason that Obama is smiling in the first picture is that the Pope is wearing a clown mask and his hat has Kiss me quick written on it.

Mar 30th, 2014 - 05:53 am - Link - Report abuse 0No, she doesn't. She would never debase herself that way. It would be in dignified.
You might not understand that.

Mar 30th, 2014 - 07:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0It is an irrelevance.
I sure HM Queen is merely being gracious in accepting an invitation from pope-corn Francis.
Dany really does not understand much. Especially about our Protestant Queen, Head of the Church of England and Head of State of all the Commonwealth countries.

lol. Very stupid.
As has been said before, just normal diplomatic etiquette.
As for the paedo comment, why would she ask the Pope? If such a thing were true how could he possibly cover it up? You do realise the UK is not a Catholic country?
Please explain or admit you shouldn't have said it?

“A former Tory Minister last night made incendiary claims that one of Margaret Thatcher’s closest aides was implicated in one of the most harrowing child abuse scandals of recent times.
Rod Richards, a former Conservative MP and ex-leader of the Welsh Tories, made the shocking allegation that he had seen evidence linking Sir Peter Morrison to the North Wales children’s homes case, in which up to 650 children in 40 homes were sexually, physically and emotionally abused over 20 years.
Mr Richards also linked a second leading Tory grandee – now dead – to the scandals at homes including Bryn Estyn and Bryn Alyn Hall, both near Wrexham.”

Equally your sources are scandal rags and internet gossip.
I could claim that the moon is made of cheese, or that you are one smart cookie. But I have no proof of either.
Also you have yet to explain as to why HM The Queen would ask the Pope, and what he could possibly do about it.
So explain or admit you shouldn't have said it.
Otherwise you will only look more foolish than usual. ....

Mar 31st, 2014 - 04:36 am - Link - Report abuse 0If you have an “audience” with the Pope it is obvious that you have to request for that in advance.
No much to say about that.
Or you can visit your Queen without a previous arrangement of an audience or interview?
Nope..
This is an “audience” and not an invitation and has to be asked in advance.
You can ask for one too trough the “Prefettura della casa Pontificia” who co-ordinates Papal audience services.
All heads of states have a “granted audience” with the Pope if they ask for it through diplomatic channels.
So your embassy in the Vatican had asked for it approaching the visit of your queen to Georgio Napolitano in Italy that was suspended before.
No need to any link it is very clear...
Also there are protocols to follow when you attend a audience with the Supreme Pontiff...
How women have to dress, you cannot speak before him, you cannot ask him personal questions and all kind of protocol stuff.
I hope your queen will be at level to follow Vatican protocol for audiences.
I guess not and she will be surely using these ridiculous hats and dressed with flowers or white...
Horror for the western world...

Mar 31st, 2014 - 07:21 am - Link - Report abuse 0You think a great deal of your Pope.
I bet he would think less of you.
#34
Mar 31st, 2014 - 08:51 am - Link - Report abuse 0According to sources in Britain, the two sides have agreed that the Pope, 77, will receive the Queen, 87, and the Duke of Edinburgh, 92, in Santa Marta, the Vatican guesthouse where he resides, rather than in the Apostolic Palace.
It will be the first meeting between the Queen and Pope Francis, though not the first meeting between the British monarch and a Pope.
Queen Elizabeth visited his predecessors in the Vatican: Pius XII, John XXIII, and John Paul II. This visit will be “informal” according to the British press and in stark contrast to her state visit to John Paul II in the Vatican in 1980.
Hardly the formal audience to which you refer.
What kind of head dress would you wear if you were attending. A Waffen SS helmet as befits your Nazi ancestry ?
Dunny still hasn't answered my question.
Mar 31st, 2014 - 09:28 am - Link - Report abuse 0Guess that means he admits he was in the wrong, but not man enough to apologise.

Mar 31st, 2014 - 05:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0“You think a great deal of your Pope. I bet he would think less of you.”
I don’t think anything because I don’t even believe in the existence of any god.
For me is simple Jorge Bergoglio like your nanny Queen is just Elizabeth
But even not been a believer, etc. I have to recognise the power, influence and wealth that this guy represents for the western world.
And that is the reason why your queen runs faster to the Vatican despite having her own church...
@Clyde15
Link please, because what you are saying is that the Vatican has refused to give her the treatment of a head of State.
May be because the former Pope had received the same treatment when he visited Britain?
Anyway formal or not formal your queen has to follow a protocol to meet the Supreme Pontiff at least you are a personal friend of him. Your queen clearly doesn’t...
Do you know if she is going to kneel in front of the Supreme Pontiff and kiss his ring?
@ ilsen
