MADuro has been a frightened man since he realised he was NOT the one in charge.
So what can he do, either he must still do as he is told by the military or risk death by assignation if he opens his mouth to the press (of other countries).
Being the abject coward that he is this nonsense will escalate into a full blown military action before the people rise up against them.
I just hope that not too many civilians will be killed in it before MADuro puts a pistol to his head.
Maburro is controlled by Cuba. Something the military increasingly has a problem with.
He really is stuck between the devil and the deep blue sea. He also has to rely on nutters like Delcy, the Information Minister who claimed anti - chavista conspirators are placing covert messages in the crossword of a provincial newspaper. Or Diosdado the bloodthirsty power crazed fool who announced that he was removing Maria Corina Machado as a Congresswoman before checking that he had the authority to do so.
Which he doesn't.

Mar 30th, 2014 - 05:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yes, a bunch of soldiers.
Did you read/hear the statement from the military afterwards?
No, you obviously didn't.

Surely not the one by the retired generals who pointed out that Airforce genenerals don't have any troops. .....
