Uruguayan Football Association (AUF) president Sebastián Bauza and the entire body's board of directors have tendered their resignations, as a fierce conflict sparked by President José Mujica's decision to remove police officers from the country's two most popular teams' matches (Peñarol and Nacional) generally marred by violence and destruction. Disclaimer & comment rulesThe only people more corrupt than politicians are those in FIFA. It could be ploy by Adidas (one of the catalysts of FIFA corruption) as Uruguay are with Puma, Adidas's nemesis. Saying that, Suarez is with Adidas and he's the main man at the moment (vamos Liverpool).. FIFA should just do one and concentrate on preventing more deaths of builders at the stadiums.

they are the same thing no doubts.
in fifa or in any of the national football associations.
I have no interest in football, being as it is one of the substitutes for warring elements to enter into “combat” in a relatively peaceful manner (according to psychiatrists).
Apr 01st, 2014 - 06:34 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The UK went through this thuggish behaviour and apart from the odd incident seems to have got over it, unless you listen to the gobshites from The Dark Country.
Perhaps it needs one or two rounds of players in stadiums bereft of “supporters” to cure this malaise, or at least protect the police from this thuggery.
Isn’t it “charming” that a commie bastard who murdered people and robbed banks and gun shops to further the terrorism that was / is the Tupas should have such care for the police?
If he wants to end his “ruling the country” on a bum note he has really hit it on the head this time. See what happens if / when Uruguay are chucked out of the WC (I do love that abbreviation).
What a pathetic man Pepe is.
@3 I fully agree......they are both cut from the same piece of cloth.

Apr 02nd, 2014 - 05:18 am - Link - Report abuse 0Pepe is the President of a country.
You are commenting on a football note regarding that country, claiming you have no interest in football...
You Sir, are pathetic...

Apr 02nd, 2014 - 05:34 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Missed the point again!
What do you think is going to happen if, because of No Money Pepe’s indecision (as usual) Uruguay gets chucked out of the WC?
Riots in the streets? Insurrection? Pepe running away from the mob wanting to lynch him?
And you, Sir, have no right to lecture anyone when you support Maduro killing people, his OWN people allegedly (some confusion whether he should really BE President as his BIRTH CERTIFICATE has never been seen, ha, ha, ha, I bet he is a little bastard as well) whilst supporting actual ARMED commie bastards who killed people in Uruguay and then ran away when they thought they were going to be executed. Ring a bell that one, does it? Your mom and dad will know all about that.
The people in Venezuela have had enough of corruption and thievery at the highest levels and are trying to get the bus driver to the terminus ASAP, without armed forces at their disposal. Now do you see the difference? But of course if you do, you won’t admit to it anyway.
It's obvious that you have no interest in football, or you'd know Uruguay isn't going to get chucked out of the WC.
Apr 02nd, 2014 - 07:12 pm - Link - Report abuse 0That only happens in click hungry news sites and in your head...
A Tupa is our President. We lost the battle, but won the war, didn't we?
And you are still pathetic.

Apr 02nd, 2014 - 09:40 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Being described as pathetic by you is like having a Malvinas Veteran’s Medal, or better still, the “I would have gone to the Malvinas but I was locked up in prison, but I would have gone Gov, honest” medal of the alcoholic ex DEFENCE MINISTER, your bestest mate! What a proud argie he must be.
It might look “good” as if it is worth something, but in reality it means nothing but a source of laughter for me!
HA, HA, HA.
I'm glad for you, old man.
