This looks like it has degenerated back to the interminable 'talks'.

And where's the Paraguayan guy who was given the Mercosur role of bringing matters to a successful conclusion? Side-lined by the big-beasts?

France is unwilling to discuss the release of agricultural products.

Then the free trade agreement should restrict the access of European products to our South American market.

    hahaha

They think we are extremely stupid. We should ignore these Europeans (we are already doing this) and closer in Asia.

    Brazil, Brazil, Brazil, Brazil!

Thought there were more members of Mercosur?

Doesn't seem like it. Why is it always Brazil commenting?

Seems more like Brazil want's to negotiate a EU treaty!

    Unilateralism?

'We should ignore these Europeans (we are already doing this) and closer in Asia.'

Brasileiro #2 seems to think Asia has tectonically shifted towards South America.

But yes, Brasil is pretty much taking the lead to increase and diversify its export economy. This has to be good for Brasil and all those prepared to hang onto its coat-tails.

Brazil are desperate to shift more tin before the whole car industry falls apart.

Bet the meeting doesn’t take place in May though!

They are holding the meeting in Caracas!
Where water and power is rationed on alternate days?
Where violent crime is so off the scale that it is impossible to record accurately?

    Geez Loiuse!!! The crazy fools!

I spend half my life in Estado Merida (& the rest mainly in London).

What's the first thing I do on arrival in Caracas from Europe?
Head to the domestic airport and get the fuck out of Dodge!
