Uruguayan president Jose Mujica said that the future US ambassador in Montevideo could “probably” be Edward Avalos, currently Under Secretary for trade and regulatory programs from the US Department of Agriculture. Read full article

US Ambassador Julissa Reynoso stated to the press that she will not be leaving Uruguay anytime soon. I hope she doesn't, she's been the best for years.
