More important, considering the subject of the article, is that Obama's life doesn't seem to be as good as that of CFK. Do you think it's worth comparing his income and assets with hers?

Sure they are worth more, as will Obama be when he leaves office, book deals, speaking tours etc.
@8 I think the Blairs are worth about £50m. But they were not worth a lot whilst in office. They made their money afterwards on the speaking circuit etc. This is typical as they are not allowed to make money whilst in office. Generally shares have to go into a blind trust to prevent abuse of power. By contrast, the K's, for example, made ALL their money whilst in power.

I had a new boss once; he was the MD of a complete division of a large international company.
The first time I met him I needed to explain the reasons for a big problem we had with the science regarding a new development we were doing. His words were, and I kid you not, “don’t confuse me with all that, I have made my mind up”. Needless to say he didn’t last that long.
There are reasons why Obama is a Muslim, as far as the Muslims are concerned, but I will deal with that after (if) @4 & @ 5 reply.

Still there it is, in my opinion, the man has made a fundamental mistake, made by all politicians. Instead of using the system, he tried to change it.

Obama’s FATHER was born a Muslim and to recant means death, no options to that one.
So Barack Obama is also a MUSLIM.
Now I know that this is unfair on the offspring of some former Christian who converted to Islam: BUT THAT IS THEIR PROBLEM: THEY ARE MUSLIMS, like it or not.
And no, not being a believer in Islam or any other fairy tale doctrine, I don’t believe he is but just look at the opportunity the Wahhabi (the nut jobs funded by Saudi “Princes”) have got here AND they will use it, they do everything else that will advance their “cause”.

I could say your father is a Jedi Knight and all Jedi Knight offspring are Jedi Knights so you are a Jedi Knight. But unless you believe in the Jedi religion it is meaningless.

Plus it doesn't matter what you say my father was, it was Obama's own family, not a stranger that said his grandfather was a Muslim.
And again it doesn't matter what you or I believe about this, the MUSLIMS do claim him to be a Muslim.
It was the stupidity of the Muslim religion as well as their hate for anything kafir that I was trying to highlight, and clearly failed!

You may have been making a tenuous link to highlight a story you feel strongly about -a story that has had considerable coverage in the UK - but I don't think it helps to repeat the nonsense claims by the bonkers right-wing element in the US. I don't know a single republican that thinks Obama is a muslim, it really is restricted to the looney element.
Obama's presidency will be analysed and probably have more in the negative than positive column. No one could say he made a lot of money whilst in power.
